Good in summer/autumn for hiking, in winter for cross-country skiing etc. Spa (Bogn Engiadina) is ~10 min. by foot (bus also available).   We were welcome by a team of wonderful staff going out of their way to make us feel comfortable - they even supplied us with an additional room free of charge because ther was no twin room left for an elderly couple travelling with us. Dinner was fantastic but expensive. Fun factor: you can squeeze your own orange juice. Would stay there again any... what people say » time.

We stayed in a superior room, which was large, modern and very clean, and the view from the balcony was simply stunning.   They offered us a vegetarian menu for dinner, modifying the already set-up one, after a short chat on our preference. The result was superb and the staff was overall very attentive to our need. - They surprised my son with a small token at breakfast time because it was his birthday.
