  The staff at this small hotel were extremely helpful and accommodating. Even though we arrived late (after 7pm), they arranged to have the cook come back to the restaurant so that our family could eat dinner, which was so kind of them, as there really weren't a lot of other options nearby for us to eat and we have four small children who were all ... what people say » starving.   Our family of 5 loved our stay here. The hotel owners are so hospitable. Glad we stayed here instead of in Zermatt - use the money you save and eat dinner here!   The location was wonderful--what a charming little town Randa is! And it's so easy to get to Zermatt on the train. We loved how spacious the apartment was, the fireplace was so nice to have, and the balconies afforded spectacular views of the mountains. The kids loved sledding right out the front door too!   A very warm welcome by staff!! All the staff were very friendly and they spoke English (enough to understand essential things). Some of them also spoke a bit of Italian. The room was very very clean and large enough to stay comfortably, with 2 closets. The bathroom was also very clean. Even gave me ice for the cooler -- hard even to find ice in Switzerland.

The hotel has a very pleasant atmosphere. - Stayed for 2 nights and used as a base to explore Zermatt and the matterhorn glacier trail, glacier paradise and gornergrat. It is a short walk between hotel and the regular zermatt shuttle train. Staff were friendly and attentive. Great atmosphere in the bar/restaurant. Very good breakfast. Nice room. Good facilities. Really enjoyed out short stay here. Even let us keep our car on the premises for the full day of check out at no cost.

The Internet signal was strong in the room.
