  My luggage key was lost and I went to inform the reception on 16 Dec 2010. She readily came up with me,tried with her keys and tried to open the padlock. As it could not be done,she got another guy, who actually cut my padlock and it was done in less than 15 minutes. Kudos to both the service providers. I am sorry I got their names but misplace... what people say » d it somehow. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. - Location was good just a 5 minute walk from the main station. clean value for money, along the river side very near to the main town and market area, though we missed a kettle for tea coffe in the room Rosli didi not have a lift but we shifter to their adjacent hotel Baslertor which ahad a lift and a swimming pool and Jacuzzi. The staff was nice and easily shifter our rooms.

  Staff were friendly and the location was fantastic. Walking distance from the train station, right across from tourist information center, and walking distance to all of the sights of Lucerne. The breakfast at Monopol was great and was included with the room, which was a nice change from the other hotels billing me for everything I even thought ... what people say » about eating or drinking. I got a very good rate on my stay and the hotel room was clean and the hotel itself was very pleasant and had a lot of char - friendly and efficiently staff. Best location next to the main station. A few minutes to the old city. Breakfast is very good. Wide range of English television channel. Very quite room in spite of close to main road and station. Good supermarket nearby. Right opposite to Business School Of Luzern. Plenty of good restaurant nearby. Rooftop bar at the adjacent Monopol hotel is a must for cocktail (great view!). We plan to stay here again.

  Hotel Magic is run by the people at Hotel Krone who are extremely nice and have an excellent breakfast spread. Second time I've stayed at Magic. Kind of fun even though some of the rooms don't have the greatest view, however some are great.   We spent to nights at the hotel while in Lucern and had a brillianttime. Staff was very caring, room (the cheapest one) was on the 5thfloor with nice view over the city. Location is perfect - we could goeverywhere on foot. I really recommand this place to anyone who likemodern architecture! - the staff treatment and the strange furniture

  Luzern is a beautiful city and we enjoyed our time there. We had a good sized room and the staff were very helpful. Parking is underneath the hotel. It was a better than the average Ibis. The train station is only a 7 min walk from the hotel and it takes only 4 min to get into Luzern. The hotel is only a short drive from the Mt Pilatus cable car. ... what people say » - Very clean and comfortable. This hotel is 7 mins walk (in the direction to a car showroom, a large white tent) from Kriens Mattenhof train station, just one stop from Lucerne central station. Mount Pilatus is very near, you can reach by a bus to the funicular point of mt. Pilatus.
