  It was great to come in and drop anchor for the night before heading onto the airport. Everything was done quickly and efficiently. Sorry, I couldn't stay for breakfast.   The hosts are very hospitable and it felt a bit like staying with friends. Breakfast is served in the family room and there was a range of foods to eat including home made jam. You probably need a car to stay here and there is parking provided. The village is lovely to walk around, driving is a bit of a challenge with the narrow streets. - Shame... what people say » on us we stayed only one night. We travel quite a lot and this was the most heartwarming place we've ever stayed in. It really felt like home. It was lovely experience. And the breakfast was excellent!

  The staff were friendly and helpful, the room large, clean, bright and airy. The hotel is just steps from the train and bus station, making it very convenient. Overall I found the Hirschen to be very comfortable. The only downside is the smoking from the bar (see what I didn't like), however despite this, and being fully aware of it, I have to say... what people say » that I would stay there again. - location is great very close to main road. room was ok and bathroom was enough. hotel has a private parking area. Nice breakfast.
