Must be a Swiss thing but my neck hurt abit after that. Forget about pre arranging a car park. spaces in front of holel available for guests or restrauant patrons. first in best dressed. city undergroung parking near by but is expensive and a pain when unloading and loadind the car.States on the web sight there are spectacular views of the Eiger, Monch and the Jungfrau. It is impossible to see the Eiger, which was the reason for the booking. Very disappointed at this. Everything else was very good. There is no kettle in the room. But then, at the price we are paying, the comfort, cleanliness and proximity to the better part of Interlaken outweighs other minor inconveniences.Some of the staff did not speak English or German. We were asked to settle our bill the night before departure. The WC/bathroom was too small .. but considering all other +ve points , this can be OK. Hallways are a little dark, bathroom a little small, but minor. The bathroom is too small. But we are happy to have the facilities inside the room.Towels looked a bit worn. Bathroom was quite small although functional. No telephone in the rooms. pillows to old. Direction to hotel needs to be more specific. Get off at Interlaken Easttrain station, walk to end of platform towards railway crossing, turnleft at the railway crossing walking about 150m, over two bridges andpassing a coop restaurant. After about 4 streets, turn right into street(?name). Hotel is third building on left hand side.The bathroom is too small... rooms bit tiny. The strong smell of cigarette smoke in the common lounge room. Rooms at rear were dark- additional lighting would have been helpful. We could not log on to the Internet facility available at the hotel. An elevator in the hotel is always handy if you are a mature aged couple and your rooms are on the upper floors.A mini bar in the room would be very nice...specially for storing beer. No lift. Smoking in restaurant, breakfast choice a bit limited. would prefer a wider range of breakfast menu for those who opt for stay of 3 or more days. toilet and shower was small. No hot water even for a cup of tea! The restaurant do not give a cup of hot water. the female receptionist wasnt keen to help abt question to junfraujoch. We arrived with heavy luggages and no one to help us to carry to our room on 2nd floor. My sister asked for help from the reception to carry the luggages up but the lady there said nobody around to help. However, after much fussed made by my sis, she suggest leaving our bags on the 1st floor and will try to get someone help to carry to our room. Would be good if the hotel has lift for easy access.
