  Nice, nice, nice, nice people. You can't put it into words. If it were only for the people, I would surely return and I do recommend this small pension en route to Gotthard Pass. The rooms and bathroom are clean and crisp. There is no fancy flatscreen TV, but who cares, you're not in Zwitserland to watch TV. The village itself caters a handful of restaurants, which we did not visit. Rathe - Great location on itself and practical stop on the way to Italy. Lovely view and family room is spacious enough. The couple running the pension is very, very friendly. You feel very welcome and they receive and treat you in a very personal way.

  We only stayed one night on a stop-over on a driving holiday en-route to Switzerland/Italy. The room was large and clean. Staff very friendly, breakfast good. - one of the best hotels ive ever stayed in, i could not fault it in any way :)

  Staff was very friendly. It was extremely quiet at night and in the morning which was so appreciated. The beds were also very comfortable. - The hotel was just perfectly located in town, you are felt very welcome and food lovely.

  In Switzerland, anything that cuts the outrageous cost is good and self catering helps a lot. The Studio appartment had everything but a kettle though the coffee maker provided hot water for tea. The owner helpfully provided a hairdryer as our adapter didn't work (Swiss plugs different to the rest of Europe). - Very accomodating and friendly owne... what people say » rs. I liked the beds, too. - Yes, it's old and a little run down, but staff were very friendly, the internet worked just fine, and by Swiss standards, it's a good deal. It's a 5-10 minute walk to the gondola, and about the same to the train station. Breakfast was ok but nothing special.
