The hotel was very clean and comfortable. I stayed for a business trip and found the staff very helpful and accomodating - loaned me an umbrella, etc. Continental breakfast was also very nice, with fresh croissants and a good selection. Located directly across from the train station, so it wasn't too close to the "red light" district nearby. Overall, an excellent budget hotel. It was very good journey and i enoyed a lot. friendly staff. We liked the decoration of the room, the staff's friendliness, the free travel card for the duration of our stay, the hotel location and the fact that they didn't charge us for keeping our luggage after we checked out for many hours. I liked the amability of the staff, the cleanliness of the room, the classic atmosphere of the loby and room. I enjoyed the location of the hotel.Personal and friendly sevice, wooden floor in the room, good cleanig. The devotion of the staff.The staff were very friendly, helpful and generous with their time for us. We were served a breakfast at 5:45 AM because our flight was leaving early. Sadly the rooms do not have coffee/tea making facilities as some other hotels do, this is something they could consider adding.There is no Lundry Service at all in the hotel , i think there should be. or at leat they can arragne with a good lundry to take daily lundry for example and return it as convenance. Noise from street traffic. Rather pricey for the standard on offer but perhaps this was a going rate in a large city. There was only small note in reception on the possibility to get GenevaTransport Card, it could be expressed in the more obvious way.Price is a bit higher for the services. No aircondition and couldn't open the windows. The high price for the use of internet. noise. lack of airconditioning. Noisey there is just one floor and I could hear people checking in as they were close to my room but very nice staff and very helpful. Woke up at 3am as another hotel guest got up and the rooms are extremely noisy. outside noise and some smells. Long waits for the lift to take you to reception on the 2nd floor. Old, in need of a facelift.The room smelled really very very bad. So bad that you had to open thewindow, but of course then it was very noisy ! That smell stayed in myclothes for the whole next day. The smell was the same in the room of myfriend. When I got home and looked at the bill, they had charged citytax for 2 persons while I was alone in the room. The minibar in the roomwas empty. Avoid this hotel !!!. Poor value for money - similar to an average European hostel but 5 times as expensive. Geneva is an expensive city but I will not stay at this hotel again - would recommend to add 50 CHF or so to get an OK place elsewhere in Geneva.The main door was locked. We were not able to get inside the building in the first night because of not be informed about how to make open the main door. It had a terrible smell to it. Cheap furnishings, It just looked shabby. The breakfast left you hungry and even the coffee was bad. Its no better than a hostel,very simple room,minimum and basicbreakfast,poor value for money..b carfull with the payment,staffs arevery dodgy..i wouldn't recommend it. it feels like a motel rather than a hotel.The room was small and noisy; the "hotel" had merely bedrooms and aplace to eat breakfast. It had no other comforts. This hotel is extremely overpriced and deceiving on the internet. The picture of the front is actually the building not the hotel which is on the second floor, has no lobby and is very ordinary. Also your website offered a smoking option but the hotel does not offer smoking rooms- fair enough in today's anti-smoking climate but it should not have been offered. Would not stay in this hotel again...
