  Staff were friendly and most helpful. I stayed there so I could have an early start on driving over the St. Gotthard Pass then over the Furka Pass and on to the Valais. The room was compact, comfortable, very clean and tidy. They provide free wifi which I put to good use that night. I decided to have dinner in their restaurant and had goulash ... what people say » with red cabbage and pomme frits that was as good or better than any I had in Budapest. The local beer accompanied the meal perfectly. I would recom - Arrived at the end of a long day's drive to a warm and friendly welcome and an excellent supper. Couldn't have asked for more. The room was basic but clean and functional, and in any case this is a budget hotel. Downsides? Not really. Decor is a little dated but well maintained and it has character that you don't find in chain hotels. In all, a nice, welcoming family hotel and a great place to break a journey and have a good meal. Highly recommended.
