Set in a peaceful park close to Davos’ Promenade, Sunstar Hotel Davos offers regular shuttle service to and from the main ski stations of Jakobshorn and Parsenn. The large spa area and the indoor pool can be used free of charge. All rooms are decorated with Swiss stone pine furniture and offer free drinks from the minibar. There are some rooms with connecting doors and others have a south-facing balcony. Sunstar Hotel's modern spa area includes a Roman-Irish thermal bath, a sauna and a fitness centre. Guests can book a massage or a beauty treatment. A 5-course menu with several choices based on fresh, regional ingredients is offered in the restaurant. You can select from a delicious range of starters, salads from the buffet, various soups and 3 main courses (meat, fish, vegetarian) plus the chef's seasonal recommendations. There is also a choice of tasty desserts and twice a week the chef invites you to a special themed dinner. The hotel also provides a business centre and a ski shop with a ski equipment rental. Free parking is available in front of the hotel. From mid-June until mid-October, access to the cable cars in Davos is included in the room rate.

I was the weather information details. Location and scenery. excellent service, free minibar. Breakfast food was always the same. I definitely think Internet access should be included in room ptrice in such hotels. But this is a general issue. Another minor issue: please brew better coffee!.

Built in 1973, the Sunstar Parkhotel is located next to the founding hotel of the Sunstar group, the Sunstar Family Hotel, in a tranquil park.

The well-known promenade with its wealth of shops and pubs is just a short stroll away.
