We liked our stay at Chalet des Alpes very much. Gary and Karen were very kind and they made a lot of preparation work about what to do in the neighbourhoud (folders, walking routes, etc). The area is very suitable to make walking routes, from easy to difficult, ride the Mountainbike, Skiing in winter, Moto trips, etc. Lens is located very centrally, and you can go to Crans Montana in 10 minutes and enjoy the magnificent views to the mountains. Within 45 minutes drive you can go to places w.

Superb little homely B&B run by an English couple. The property is spotless, modern and very cosy. Rooms well appointed with nice beds, powerful showers, toiletries, tea & coffee and great views of the Rhone Valley. Breakfast is served in the lounge with Gary on hand to assist with your travel plans, provide maps and any info you want. Location is excellent, only 10mins down the hill to Sierre/Motorway, Sion 15mins, Crans/Montana 10mins. Excellent value for money. We were motorcycle touring and could not fault Chalet De Alpes . Gary and Karen were fabulous hosts who could not do enough to make our stay more enjoyable. Cooking for us when arriving late and everywhere was closed, even providing bike cleaning materials for our cherished machines. Beautiful chalet in a gorgeous location, centrally located for touring the famous biker passes.. Thanks , you were both great. We would love to return one day. Karen and Gary was helpful in all possible way. We arrived late in the night, but they found a solution for that too. The location of the chalet is beautiful, the rooms are nice and the view ..... can't find words! All in all we had a wonderful stay and we highly recommend Karen and Gary's chalet to anyone that likes nature, beautiful surroundings, very good service and all to a very nice price. The breakfast was generous and fresh. Pricing is amazingly cheap for the Crans-Montana area and the quality of the rooms. Karen and Gary couldn't be nicer. Very welcoming, Clean and Comfortable. Karen & Gary are first class and so is the chalet. Nice place, very friendly atmosphere, very clean. The whole week we stayed was superb. There was the possibility to make use of extra services if you like, for which all an extra price needed to be paid. Some are obviously logic that an extra price need to be paid, but renting out of walking maps is something which I would provide at no charge to the guests. Breakfast options a little limited, didn't like having to take off shoes inside the B&B entrance as the floors are hard and rooms have easy clean laminate floors. Almost fell down the stairs. The fact we had to come home. I don't know .... can't think of anything. I would have liked better coffee in the a.m. (cappuccino), but I'm a coffee snob. There was nothing to dislike. have nothing to complain about. .................... Perhaps a bit to strict organized, try to provide a slightly more relaxed atmosphere. Nothing.

Please inform the chalet about your approximate arrival time to make sure somebody is there to meet you. If you are arriving by bus, please get off at the Lens Fondation Pierre Arnaud Bus Stop. From there it is approximately a 5-minute walk to reach the property. The chalet is unsuitable for babies and young children. Children are welcome but they will need to have their own room. There are no child discounts. Please specify whether you prefer double beds or twin beds. Please note that the American Express credit cards cannot be accepted! If making your reservation less than 24 hours before arrival please call the chalet using the telephone number on your booking confirmation. Guests are kindly asked not to wear outdoor shoes, hiking boots or ski boots in the chalet. Please bring comfortable indoor shoes or slippers. A buffet breakfast is available every morning from 08:00 to 09:30. Please inform Chalet des Alpes in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
