They have given us a well-prepared baby travel crib for our little one in our room, which has included a bed sheet, a duvet and a pillow for our 8 months old daughter! The hotel has also offered toiletries in the bathroom such as shower gel/shampoo, shower cap, nail polisher, shoehorn...etc. Very thoughtful for the guests!. Very friendly, helpful hosts. Great restaurant and the food was excellent. Continental beakfast. Clean and comfortable room. Central location in the old town. If travelling by bus from Lucarno, turn back up the street to the post office on the corner. Turn left and the hotel is approx 100 metres on your left, a 5 min walk.

Albergo Antica Posta is located in the pedestrian area of Ascona. When arriving by car and you reach Ascona, drive all straight until the post office. There, you will find two plugs designating the pedestrian area. Press on the white button and announce yourself as a hotel guest. The police will let you drive through.The hotel is located about 200 meters from there, on the left hand side, just after the boutique of Farfalla. It is a green house with two olive trees. Once at the hotel, you will be presented with a special hotel parking card, with which you can park at the nearby garage at a discounted rate. Please note that the city tax includes the Ticino Ticket. It offers free benefits and discounts in the Canton of Ticino, including free use of train and bus services. At the barrier please press the middle button, log in as hotel guest and the barrier will open. Please drive directly to the hotel to unload the luggage.
