A really charming place to stay in Sweden, had the feel of a boutique hotel for a fraction of the cost. The staff and their comittment. The helpful 24 hour staff, delicious breakfast buffet, and lovely spacious rooms made our nights in Hotel Hansson a 4-star experience that far exceeded my expectations. the staff is great! very cheerful and nice! thank you !!!.

I'm now in a 2-star hotel in Gdansk which seems to be 5-star compared to that one in Stockholm. I stayed only four three nights. the stuff was helpfull. The place in the city. It it close to the main shopping area and the city centre.Slightly noisy from outside street traffic in the evening. it would have been nice to have tea and coffee facilities in the room. Yes...AWFUL PILLOWS!!...very bitty and lumpy very uncomfy to sleepon.The Shower flooded the bathroom!bit of a pain,and no coffee/teafacillities which for the rate charged was a bit disappointing. some of the hotel was being redecorated which meant some rooms were obviously much newer than others but ours was still very satisfactoru. Nobody asked for my id when i came back to the hotel in the afternoon to get my room key. I could have aksed for any other room key. Nobody checked. This gives me not a safe feeling. Doormat in the rooms can be dangerous, they easily slide on the floorcausing me almost to fall. Bathroom was nice but when showering thefloor gets completely wet and would not drain as it was leveledincorrectly. Hotel was a little on the expensive side compared to value.I Had a great stay though.the elevator was not working at the time i stayed. i stayed on the 3th floor so i had to carry my luggage all the way which is bad. single rooms have no blind at window. In summer you wake up at 4 in the morning because of the sun and you are very thirsty because of the heat. Shower doors not closing. After shower there are water on the floor. Hotels in stockholm are generally very expensive, we know that. Hansson is however less central than for instance Mornington in Nybrogatan- and under renovation as well. This was not reflected in a better price...I chose this hotel because no other that I know was available.Anyway apart from the price and the fact that you also need to buy a garage the hotel is ok. the central heating didn't fuction in the room and we had to change the room.there was an awful smell in the bathroom. Yes, my room was not prepared when they handed me the key @ 20hr! and was not the room I had reserved.Too high price for such number. The room needs refurbishment. Unless it is done the room looks kind of dirty and uncomfortable. The variety of breakfast and a safebox in the room also would be very nice addition.I ordered for a room with 3 beds, when i arrived the room only had 2 beds. I had to ask to put one more in there and wait for them to deliver. The room was ok, but it was not big enough for 3 beds, so we were crowded. The bathroom was old, but clean. I think that the hotel is too expensive for its facilities. Yes, the room was too cramped for 2 persons, no refrigerator, no good heating facilities.Next time I should have a TV like it was annouced I should have. it was extremely warm and stuffy in my room, opening window did not help. I booked a four bed room with one extra bed, and was offered a double room with three extra beds. Absolutely unacceptable. You should not advertise this hotel. It took money from guests by falsepretences. It was in the middle of building, no heating and offering noalternative form of heating, no English speaking programs on televisioncharging 1685 sek for one person for one night. 3 star hotel ?????. I paid for two rooms with 3 bads and I received a room for 3 and one double rom and an extra bed.

Travelling information

From Arlanda:
- Take the Airbus to Sankt Eriksplan.
- Take the local bus number 4 for Radiohuset and get off at Stadsbiblioteket.
- Walk a few metres back, turn right on Sveavägen and turn right at the crossing Sveavägen/Surbrunnsgatan.The hotel is 100 metres up on the left-hand side.

Alternatively, take the Arlandaexpress:
- Take the subway for Hässelby Strand and get off at Rådmansgatan.
- Take the exit for (Stadsbiblioteket).
- Walk straight ahead, cross Odengatan and turn right at the crossing Sveavägen/Surbrunnsgatan.
- The hotel is 100 metres up on the left-hand side.

From Skavsta:
- Take the airbus to the City Terminal.
- Take local bus number 59 on Klarabergsgatan and get off Stadsbiblioteket
