This place is like a museum. They collect odds and ends from all over and hung them up everywhere. It was fun just walking around the place. The breakfast was included and was excellent. The room was spacious and comfortable. We went off season so the place was nice and quiet, not much action going on and the pool was still closed. There is free parking in a public gravel parking lot nearby.
all reviews » My Parents and I thought this was an excellent establishment. Very well priced, excellent accommodation in our cottage, peaceful and quite, and good location for the surrounding area. The Grill Buffet was very good as was Breakfast. If we are passing through again, we would stay here!. gottage we had was much bigger than we thought. swimming pool was a nice suprise, though water was bit cold.. the historical surround amused us beeing city girls.. food was good. good jogging possibilities. Very nice and comfortable cottages. Radiators were switched on before we had come, and it was very good, because it was only +5 outdoors. There were nice big viking chairs and candlesticks! =). Wonderful cottage I really loved the place. The staff was very kind and helpful (special thanks to her). Very good value of money for 4 guests plus breakfast buffet. The views were fantastic. Very traditional / querky Swedish Hotel with friendly staff and an excellent position in the countryside, but close enough to Halmstad to travel in at any time. Friendly welcome, extremly helpful service. Cottages in quiet place, beautiful nature. Cottage ideal for a family, 2 x two beds rooms. Location and price was great for our visit. Breakfast smorgasboard was excellent. Staff was very helpful and very friendly.Very friendly staff, excellent kitchen. Staff were super friendly. Food was excellent! The vegetables were the best I tasted in all Scandinavia. My 8 year old son said he had the best sleep of the trip. This place is out in the middle of nowhere. There is nothing around. You have to drive quite some distance to go to any place. Parking lot is not adjacent to the hotel, so you worry about your car parked someplace else where you can not see it. Nothing except the waterfall in the area was not good (the water was brownish). Bathroom a little small, having said that it was functional. Kitchen needs more cleaning, often change of dishwashing sponge recommended. Our cabin beds tilted to one side. The resort was a bit dated, but comfortable with lots of character. Room wasn't as clean as I like... dust, cobwebs, and dirt in the corners. The resort is definitely in the countryside with not much to do in the area. Not very accommodating staff. About the breakfast, and the pool, we were asking ourselves. The hotel restaurant is declared, it did not work. The lady at the reception did not want to say where we can eat. I had to look on the navigator. Cottage big, but the bedrooms are very small, the doors to the bedrooms were not closed. Not very comfortable. On the porch of a huge hornet's nest. Wasps climbed into the shower. Breakfast is bad.... Unhygienic rooms, full of old junk and smelly furniture, bad air-conditioning, smell of mold and perfumes of previous customers. Impossible place to stay if you have any allergies. All the furniture should be replaced, along with the curtains and wallpaper. The topmost disgusting details were the sheets and the dining room floor.
