Wonderful location on the main square with all the main retail areas and bar/restaurant areas on the doorstep or within a few minutes' walk. Comfortable, large double bed, large TV that can be angled in any direction, really good breakfast with English newspaper available as well. Efficient, friendly and helpful staff. The word "Perfect" will not be enough to describe. Thanks to the lady at the reception who offered her sandwich to me while leaving the hotel at 05:30 because of no breakast at that time. Superb breakfast buffet. Area close to everywhere.
all reviews » It was the center of everything to do in Linkoping. I was there to research the birth place of my Grandfather born in Vasterlosa and everything was near here. And all the staff was very helpful and friendly. Close to the station and within walking distance of the Linkoping Arena. Good welcome from staff. Easy check-in & out. Excellent choice at breakfast. We had our children coming for breakfast, they did not stay at the hotel.At first they said that there were no place for them the hotel was full booked but the breakfastroom was almost empty.Strange..After some diskussions they could come to eat with us. All the rooms need upgrading, we know it is an old building but still a new coat of paint and a small modernization would make the money paid for the rooms worth it. The sound from the outdoor bars on the town square. Initial room offered was standard and way too small, claustrophobic even. Was upgraded to a business room which was much bigger but very, very tired. It looked and felt dirty. Shower cubicle was dirty with rust showing in places and broken plastic covers.
