The hotel is located on the plaza in the middle of old town Kalmar where plenty of shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. Because there is no A/C it can be a little noisy at night with the windows open but they provide ear plugs. Fans are provided as well. Try to get a room off the plaza if you want to reduce the noise level. Beds are comfortable and duvets snuggly. The breakfast is wonderful! Eggs and bacon are outstanding, and cold buffet very complete. Great coffee, too.

All around this a truly charming place to stay!! I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for charm, grace and character!!. I only spent one night, and left before breakfast, but a very pleasant stay. The staff were extremely helpful, and were very polite and attentive. I recommend staying here. The room and equipment were nice and very clean, and the staff was supportive, - however we saw only 1 person, who managed both the reception and the breakfast buffet. Loved this hotel in the center of the city. Just next to the train and bus station and if you get a room on the parc side, it is silent as well. Super comfy bed! Very cozy & homey place. The breakfast was wonderful-fresh squeezed orange juice, perfectly boiled eggs, etc. Great location near train station yet not noisy. Nice tea room with tea and cookies in the afternoon. My stay was pleasant as always. The rooms are very nice and always kept in impeccable condition. the location which is very close to the train and bus stations and also city centre. Plastic carpet in bathroom was loosing up etc. This Hotel can ber pretty noisy, not this time I had a room towards the back. no parking. letsbookhotel.com mobile app didnt show that this hotel dont have parking. I havent booked it if I knew it. Also little bit old and rooms are not so clean as expected. Bathroom mouldy.
