The location was beautiful, set amongst stunning scenary. The rooms were comfortable, with great tv channels for kids, pool was small but adequate, wonderful gesture of a little food treat (ie cup cakes) in the room at night! Best of all was the restaurant staff who bent over backwards to fulfill the very picky dining needs of our children. this is a really nice hotel, in a good location, the staff are great and the food (buffet style dinner and breakfast) we found to be of a high standard with lots of options. the reception organised a driver for us for the stay and it was very reasonable and the driver was very informative and courteous.

We requested interconnecting rooms via letsbookhotel.com and arrived to find this was not granted and the reception quoted us something about reading terms and conditions that can't guarantee. This was non negotiable for us with 3 small kids. Finally, after putting our foot down they found us perfectly located interconnecting rooms opposite the river. Very happy. The 'spa' was a huge disappointment for such a gorgeous hotel. Just a tiny corridor and rooms that looked like maids quarters. the spa is really terrible here and similar to lots of reviews on here you basically get a bit of oil rubbed into you. the staff act as though you are an inconvenience to their day. My 30 minute massage last 20 minutes. The actually spa is pretty grubby to say the least. Nothing nearby of interest. The road on the other side of the river can get noisy, but its a great hotel and loved it. No complaints!. Too many waiters in the restaurant hanging around your table without doing much was a bit unnerving. Might be due to the low season. The staff is untrained and not polite. Services not good. Our room's bathtub was clogged with water. We complained 3 times but nothing was done. then we had to shout at the management then last day they repaired it. The room which we stayed was haunted. Last night our room's lights were going on and off and we could sleep the whole night. Cold water in the pool. Quite expensive, also for arranged trips. A/c not working, staff told us we have problems with maintanance, food in restaurant from buffet not warm needs more attantion. Very busy and noisy. Three weddings occurred over our 3 night stay but the majority of the noise-disturbance occurred in the early hours of the morning when the staff would begin their cleaning duties. Although this didn't ruin our entire stay it was definitely a problem the hotel should address. The linen and towels are a bit dated. Road driving. Nothing. Set menu dinner was a disaster but manager provided good customer service to redress situation. Entertainment group, the Dream was distinctively poor when compared to the previous nights experience. There's a bad smail in open pufea and the hotel its full of moskito and the rooms. Beer was never cold enough. The food was very very disappointing. We had better food in a 3 star hotel and at least their food was fresh. The food is canned, stale and utterly uninspiring. The price is too much high comparing to facilities provided. The Shower Cubicle in our room was very badly fitted. The whole toilet gets completely wet when someone takes a shower. Rates are to expensive for what they have to offer. no arabic tv channels only one. their food is bad. This hotel doesn't deserve its 5 star palace ranking. The hotel is getting old and our experience was really bad. Electrical problems in the room; lost of laundry items. Staff not 100% reliable. The air condition in my room not working and the hotel staff they don't do anything to sort this issue unless the got my a fan. However, the room in extreme hot and worm condition, the windows and door can not open due to Monkeys going around which is extremely danger. Even those I spoke to housekeeping manager and duty manager the don't do any, also I claim to got my money back but no one respond even the hotel manager. the location Not clean at all Small rooms.
