Apartments very clean , modern comfortable and well equipped. location is excellent just 5 minutes walk from all tourist sights , the fresh food market is on the door step, shops and restaurants (Lots of Tapas bars very good prices ) all minutes away. Take the map as we got lost alot !! but not a problem as this is A very beautiful city, we felt safe while walking around. The staff were very helpful and came straight away to sort out the large window which would not close. Left our luggag.
all reviews » The apartment was clean, new but very basic. There is one bath with bidet, small kitchen ( no oven - decently equipped ) , dining table, sofa bed, one bedroom and balcony. There is soap in the bathroom with two extra rolls of toilet paper. A new iron and board never been used. They give you two bath towels and two small towels. Also there is an extra blanket and pillow. The pillows are so long, first time I have seen one of those. There are lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance. . The apartment was in a modern block in a fantastic location in the old town. Easy walking distance to excellent bars and restaurants and to the cathedral and the Central Market (strongly recommended experience - we got all our food supplies here) Smart, modern apartment with all the facilities you would need Jose was very friendly and gave us excellent advice and tips, pointing out places to go on a map. He runs a bike hire company close by and it is very good value for full or half day rental. Perfect location, friendly staff, we rented bikes and and received a great discount, lots of bars & cafes close by, not far away from the riverbed and the market hall (great for food), Noises during the night didn't disturb us at all - it just felt like you are in the middle of a typical spanish city and we enjoyed the buzz, the one bedroom apartment is perfect for a couple (don't think it suits more then 2 people though). We would return again to Valencia and stay in the apartment. Excellent location, right in the middle of the Old Valencia City, close to the Central Market - the equivalent of a delicious breakfast every day. Staff was professional, flexible and to the point. Clean, cable TV, free wireless, nice terrace, comfortable beds, air conditioning. Design build on a budget, nothing too fancy, but nice and useful. Again, great location. Overall it was worth every penny. The apartment was great, clean, comfortable. Actually a bit of an oasis in otherwise not such great surroundings (as Valencia is). If you don't go out at night, and in case you have parking, the property is well positioned centrally. Staff (Elisa) was very pleasant, friendly and helpful, professional. Wifi works, help available, kitchenette great, beds great, comfort great. They accepted our dog. The apartment is located in the heart of the historic old town in a most charming and convenient location. The facilities, decoration and design are all contemporary and represent excellent taste and convenience. Staying at Negrito Art Apartamentos was a very special experience - highly recommended! It was a perfect location to visit the city center but also very well linked to other parts of the city. It is new, nicely furnished and it's in front of the central market and five minutes walk from the most important sites. The owners are really friendly and problem solving oriented. A very recently refurbished apartment meant it was pristine. Stylish and very functional. Altho' we went out every night to eat, it would have been easy and comfortable to cook and eat in. Great design, clean, comfortable, superb location in the centre of town (surprisingly quiet given this) and had everything we needed. It was very confortable and near to the city center,but there wasn't noise. The manager Jose' was very kindle and he answerd us to the all of answers. He suggest us to rent a bike for a trip city and the experience was marvellous. The apartment's location is extremely central and within a very short walk of the majority of the main sights, but not in a noisy bar district. It's clean, modern and functional apartment. I will defenatly stay in this apartment in my next trip. Negrito is perfectly design for comfort and enjoyment. It is a designer apartment, walking distance to wonderful sofisticated leisure area, beautiful restaurant to eat within walking distance. Good location very close to the historic sights, modern apartment and clean, the central market is great for food shopping, nice and quiet during the week. Staff were very helpful. Professionalism of staff (Jose) who patiently waited for our late arrival and helped us with recommendations on what to visit complete with maps and smiles. Very wonderful indeed. Although we were at the Apartment briefly the facilities were well situated with lift access. Comfortable rooms and very clean facilities in a convenient location. Location was perfect, but that was all. shower trays very shallow floor gets wet easily just put a towel down , and the view not quite what expected but only minor points. There is no dvd player and as in all Spanish apartments I have occupied so far there are no English speaking channels on tv. There is no daily cleaning, there is a mop and broom, you have to throw out your own trash even though they do not give you extra trash bags.The view was not good, our balcony overlooked an empty lot, but there was a church on the side. It would have been nice to have a full balcony rather than a juliette one, but this was a minor negative, far outweighed by the many positives. Extra towels (we stayed 5 nights). The couch was in similicuir, I would have preferred any other material. The rooms are a little bit smaller than what they appear to be in the photos. There was water dripping from the ceiling in the upstairs bathroom. On our round trip through Spain we did not particularly like Valencia, including the area of the apartment (it felt quite unsafe at night). Due to the direct surroundings and the need to book the parking, this property feels a bit overpriced. Might be a bit difficult to find at first arrival, as streetnames in Spanish and Valenciano are different :). There was very little we disliked. It's a great apartment! To be really picky, the door locks could benefit from some oil (they are stiff and the key does not always turn easily). This includes the door locks to the entire block and to the locks on the apartment door itself. Couple of very minor things. Wifi signal could be improved on and the shower could soak the floor if a little careless with the shower curtain. But this shouldn't really affect your booking or enjoyment of the apartment facilities. Slightly austere design of apartment but does mean that it's functional and clean. EnSuite shower was a bit of a squeeze and tended to flood the bathroom floor. The car park spaces is small for vans or standard cars. No shampoo in the apartment so u need to bring yours however what ever littel shortcomings you may find it is well compensated by the excellent staff attitude. No parking. For those traveler driving in Europe, this is very inconvenient. The best way is no to rent a car in Valencia. You can use train. Saturday night was very noisy until the early hours of the morning, the kitchen needs a bread knife and a few extra things to make cooking easier. Cannot think of anything. Please don't assume overseas visitors from others countries understand the parking situation in European cities. Instructions about parking in Valencia and how difficult it is to directly access buildings would have saved us 45 mins of confused driving in circles trying to access our accommodation. This is only a little point & not a criticism of the Apartment. The staff were extremely helpful in rectifying the difficult situation. Bathrooms very small considering overall size of apartment. The floors looked clean, however when my infant was crawling, his feet were black. I tried mopping, but that did not help. This didnt not bother me too bad, as we were not in the apratment all that much. Nothing. 30 euro for late check in (after 8pm) you can only call the girl, and she'll come with the keys of your apartment and tell you the adress of the apartments, because it's differ from adress in booking. Nothing. Shower leaked onto floor big-time. Paid a bit too much. Noise from within building. Could hear people talking and moving about. Double glazing excluded city noise very well. The web images form a misleading impression. The parking space was quite small. Towels were not clean, and thin Beds were very firm. Poor sleeping bed, not enought blankets, pillows poor. Pull out not acceptable. Hardly any utensils in the kitchen, smelly cloths, towels and bed sheets didn't feel clean either. Bedspread more of a sleeping bag and bed uncomfortable. No natural light, and balcony not very nice view at all. Shower in one bathroom grimy and too small for anyone to shower comfortably in. Cold and clinical apartment with cheapest possible finishings and grubby walls. All in all, would not recommend the apartments or Valencia ( which is also very very dirty and charmless ). Small, noisy, no cleaning, no shampoo even. I'll never recommend this place.
