Delightful converted monastery. While the rooms were basic the building and its gardens were fabulous - we had our picnic lunch in the cloister gardens. Extremely quiet and a quiet location on the university's old campus. Good continental breakfast. Lots of free parking. Great location, just a short walk to the historic centre.

Really peaceful spot just outside old city - perfect for starting off on the Camino.
It was very quiet set in pleasant grounds and welcoming. Breakfast
was limited.

- Beautifully quiet, away from the noise of the city. There's even a chapel for quite reflection or a time of prayer
- The breakfast is excellent (I admit we were very hungry after finishing the Camino)
- Rooms have a very high ceiling, which makes them look bigger
- Less then 15 min walk from the centre of Santiago.
It wa a good value.

Not easy to find because it was situated at the back of the campus with
only one sign on the wall when you got there! No signing anywhere on
approach roads. It needs to advertise more even the locals were unaware
of its existence!.

- Bit of a frosty reception upon arrival; I think this was down to the fact that we didn't speak any Spanish and they didn't speak any English. Slightly challenging.
- Facilities are very basic; bath room really quite small. Nice hot shower though.
We had a hard time finding it the first time.
