Location is very centralized, close to the Cathedral. It is minimalist
and chic. But what is impressive is the super friendly staff. The
evening staff at the reception, called Maria, is especially helpful,
friendly and made us feel very welcome with all the tips re Santiago.
Would stay here again next time. The little cafe/eating place serves
good wine, food and tapas. The waitress was very friendly as well. all reviews »
The hotel was faboulous, small and cosy, the receptionist was extremelly helpful and funny. She direct us to the resturant and make our stay special. If we ever come back to Santiago we will stay again at the hotel. It is a real boutique hotel, attentif to detail as very nice design testful with a touch of past showing here and there.
Perfect location! Near the cathedral, easy access to other parts of
Santiago. Friendly & helpful staff, our departure time was 6.30am
and the reception assured us that we can have our breakfast(normally
starts from 7.30 onward) before leaving...excellent service..! Not to
mention that the breakfast is fantastic!.
Location (although given the very small size of the old town, anything located there is perfectly located), staff was very polite and gave us good tips on the (very) few things to do in Santiago (cathedral visit apart), room was modern , well-decorated and with a very cosy feeling to it.
A calm and exceptionally clean haven after walking the Camino within walking distance to the Cathedral. The receptionist and bar staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them.Also fantastic beds much appreciated by tired pilgrims.
Great welcome. The women at the reception gives a lot of informations
about the city. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Reception desk open
all night long. Breakfast is high quality food. I would not hesitate to
come again in this place.

The walls were not that sound proof. From our bed, we could sometimes
hear the person in the next room snoring. Perhaps they should arrange
that beds in the rooms are not back to back against the wall, thus
providing more privacy.

We requested for a twin room but got a double room due to
unavailability... A tea or coffee making facilities would be perfect.
room was a bit on the small side (room 106) and had a view towards a patio used for storage. everything else was fine.
Unfortunately, through no fault of the establishment we had a rowdy Wedding party who disturbed the whole floor at 3am and 6am on consecutive nights. The receptionist organised for us to keep our rooms for a few hours to catch up on missed rest prior to departure.

Our room (302) was in the attic with a window in the roof. It was
stuffy so we opened the window but had to shut it because of the
cooking smells coming up from the kitchen. Portable air conditioning
took a while to kick in.

Getting there by car was a little tricky but easy when you know how. (ie. access through road blocked by bollards) Better instructions for drivers would help.

The only way I can describe hotel is gay friendly as they are unable to provide twin beds in their double rooms for groups of friends!!!.
