Located 1 hours’ drive from Barcelona, this Wild West-themed hotel offers free unlimited access to PortAventura Theme Park. It features 3 river-style swimming pools, as well as evening and daytime entertainment. Hotel Gold River is themed around the American Gold Rush, for a true Wild West experience, and it features décor traditional of the era. It offers direct access to the Far West section of the theme park. For a supplement, guests have access to the Hotel PortAventura & Hotel Caribe Wellness spa. This if free for some room types, where indicated. Services include a sauna, hot tub, steam baths, gym and heated indoor pool. Beds are covered with colourful patchwork quilts and there are antique-style furnishings, as well as satellite TV. The rooms are set in different themed parts of the hotel, including a Victorian mansion, City Hall and a typical Wild West main street scene. The Gold River’s Grand Hall Restaurant serves a range of buffet cuisine, whilst the New Texas and Opera House Restaurants offers à la carte options. There are also 2 bars and a snack bar on site. PortAventura is just outside Salou, which can be easily accessed from the AP7 Motorway. Barcelona is situated north of the complex and can be reached by train in 1 hour. A bus goes from Camp de Tarragona AVE Train Station to Barcelona and Reus Airports.

Theme park was excellent and having access to it from the hotel was a bonus. Rooms were lovely and breakfast was cooked to perfection. Had a lovely stay here and will return again to the THEME PARK. Also there was a mix up with my booking, when i booked this hotel it booked 2 rooms for me and i only wanted 1, the sales team were lovely about it and cancelled the room free of charge for me.
all reviews » Great and unique hotel area. Hotel was clean, room was ok, pools were nice, food was good and amusement park was close. Everyone of us enjoyed our two nights stay! (Family with children of age 4 and 9). We left a coat there and the staff went to the room and recovered it for us after we had left and arranged to forward it to us in another hotel some 100 miles away. Very honest and helpful. Great location. It is possible to reach the park through the hotel within 5 minutes walking. There are three nice pools. The hotel staff is very kind. Great new hotel at the Portaventura theme park. Beatiful wild west theming everywhere, and easy access to the park. Very nice hotel, very comfortable and nice situated (separative but very close to Port Aventura entrance). Very nice hotel. The rides and the breakfast. PotrAventura just in front, animation for kids in the evening. Didn't like that there was no WiFi in the room i was staying in, you could only get WiFi in the main hotel area. It was a bit of a drive to go into the city of salou and cost €15.00 per way for the taxi ride, so was costing €30.00 a day to go out in salou x 7 days cost us 210euro for taxis alone. Breakfast/buffet room was really noisy and we needed to que before we got a table. room not ready at 3pm. If you stay later you pay for more time so should work both ways. Floor had sand on it and not fully cleaned previously. The rooms are very small. I reserved the quadraple room which was small. It wasn't so clean and the beds were not comfortable. There is only one place which serves light meals for lunch. We had room for 4 people. It was too small. Notr very bad, however, the size of teh room was not in accordance to general superb level of the hotel. A bar in Lucys mansion would have been an improvement. $15 taxi ride from the beach. The wait at the check in, the prices and the staff. The lack of a good restaurant. Ascetic rooms, uncomfortable beds, rather expensive for the level of service proposed, only paid for short distance to the park.

The hotel has 3 restaurants: - New Texas This is an à la carte restaurant. It serves dinners from 20.00 to 23.00. - Opera House This is an à la carte restaurant. It serves lunch from 13.00 to 16.00, and dinner in the evenings, from 19.00 to 22.30. - Lucy's Cuisine (at Lucy's Mansion) This is an à la carte restaurant. It serves lunch from 13.00 to 16.00 There are 3 bars in the Hotel: - Lobby Bar This is a victorian bar. Important information to guests

Please note, access to PortAventura Park is included. Tickets to the Aquatic Park and Cirque du Soleil are not included. 1 access to Ferrari Land per person per stay is also included in all room rates. Portaventura has a pass which allows all purchases in the park to be directly charged to the hotel room. Please note that parking lots are limited and are subjected to availability at the time of check in. This rate includes free and unlimited access to PortAventura® Theme Park and discounts on Costa Caribe Water Park (please check the parks' opening dates). The access to the park covers the total length of the stay, including both check-in and check-out dates. For reservations on 24th or 31st December, a buffet dinner is included. During the 31 December, there is a gala dinner, party favours bag, and after dinner party at the Convention Center (transfer included). Please note the Parks are closed from Monday to Friday, from 5 November to 21 December. From 6 December to 9 December the Parks will be open.

In PortAventura, you can experience 5 distinct and exciting areas with different themes. Try the thrilling rollercoaster rides, including the Dragon Khan roller coaster with 8 inverted loops. There are also special rides for young children. Enjoy the variety of shows on offer in the park, as well as a wide selection of themed restaurants and shops. This hotel complex is located just outside Salou, allowing you to make the most of the lively nightlife, bars and restaurants of the town. The beach is just a short distance from the hotel.
