Far from urban noise etc., situated on the ocean shore. - very friendly staff and we feel really like home in their place. It is big and clean; had a nice breakfast with cheese and ham, jam, cereals. really good price-quality!

  The owner Andrey gave me a nice welcome to Famara. The Surf House is what it shows on the website, has everything you need to enjoy a nice and cosy stay. During my stay I had really nice house mates and really fun time. Definitely recommended!

  The staff was amazing, very friendly and when we came back a day after our stay they even allowed us to leave our backpacks and take a shower. Everything was very clean, we had a very modern bathroom and comfy beds! Would stay there again!!! - The staff and the location were excellent - and it is a gay friendly place.   Very good location (right in the centre of El Médano, near the beach, lots of good restaurants and cafes around), the hostel was very clean and comfortable with pleanty of places to meet other travellers (big kitchen, room with sofas downstairs and a roof-top area). But it was quiet during the night so there is no problem with getting a good night... what people say » sleep. The WiFi works nicely. The breakfast is simple (toast, jam, coffee, tea) but you can always go to the shop near the hostel to get some fresh b - The staff, as always, is pleasant, speak a number of languages and are quick to complete requests. The place was kept clean. I liked the room for 8 that had a view of the water better than the room for 4 or 6. The rooftop terrace is perfect for having tapas and watching the full moon rise. The common areas are attractive and a great place to chat with other travelers. Having breakfast provided every day is a money saver!

And the people here live as a family, so they try not to make too much noise and not to bother the others. =) And the price is the lowest for this town! Besides that, the location is really good and there are cheap supermarkets in the corner. =)
