The man on the reception (although appeared to have little English) was very helpful and made every attempt to answer all our questions about the area. He even looked after our bags after check out until we were ready to go to the airport.
The room was more then what we expected for accommodation listed as a "hostel." Very clean, beds were comfortable and the shower was very hot&powerful.

We loved everything, close proximity to the beach, very relaxing, lovely room. Staff was very accommodating. They changed our room for us to one with a better view. Most reasonably priced hotel we stayed at during our month in Spain. The food was also very good.
Perfect place to stay. You cannot beat the location and we had a bit of a view of the sea and overlooking all the action. Eating t the outdoor tables was the perfect location as well and we loved their breakfast. Small room, but has everything you need.
Very central to everything. I went with family for a wedding. Our accomadation was ideal for this occasion. Staff very friendly. Rooms spotless and service excellent..... Thumbs up.
Nerja is a great place. I was only there for a very short stay the first week of July 2013 but had the best time I have had in years. People were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Location was perfect. We had a room to an inside courtyard which was quiet. I would guess a room looking to the church or balcon would be noisy till 2am.

Locations excellent right in the heart of Nerja on the Balcon , bar, resturant on the ground floor with 10% discount on food lots of sitting area but not all to comfortable chairs, all a bit cafe type no sofa arm chairs to relax in in the evening if having a drink have stayed here few times before in last 8 years.

The shutter on the window didn't go down fully so the room was quite bright during the night and in the early morning.

When not familiar with the town, hotel is difficult to find. We made several attempts to get instructions from the hotel with no response. Felt they could have been more helpful on this point.
Vat not added to bill until paying for room which was a shock and disappointing.

my husband is an early riser and when trying to leave the hotel on thursday morning at 7 am found the exit gate from the hotel locked this is a major health and safety issue.

Beds very hard. Check-in staff and bar staff very off-hand and unfriendly - sadly we found this to be the 'normal' experience everywhere we visitied in Southern Spain during our 2 week holiday - so not a particular fault at this hotel!.
The bedrooms are now looking tired and basic and the twin beds in room 104 are so old the springs poke in you during the night so not a good nights rest! I would think twice before staying here again as some of the smaller hostel hotels are better value for money and are up todate, this Hotel is trading on its position rather than careing for the clients Owner is rather offish when serving in the resturant & will always serve the Spanish before other people.
No parking, weak air con. & no tea/coffee facilities in room.
The man who checked us in. He was patronising and unpleasant though not rude. He was very unwilling to help us to cancel the last night at the hotel. He claimed it was because of letsbookhotel.com and that it was almost impossible. Wich it was not.
