We thought the facilities were excellent, especially for children of varied ages. Also, the apartments were very large and all the American amenities were provided which is so rare in Europe. The classes on offer were great and we really enjoyed the gym. This was one of the best and most comfortable European holidays we have taken. The two indoor pools were perfect! We selected this resort specifically because we knew it would be raining and cold and we would need something to do with the kids indoors. The rooms were wonderful, the beach was beautiful, and we found a zipline park just a few miles away. It was a fantastic few days away for our family.
all reviews » Lovely resort with nice amenities - activities for kids, good indoor & outdoor pools, sports - badminton, beach volleyball, shuffleboard, chess. The beach was beautiful. The apartments are well appointed and the resort marketplace carries all the basic necessities. The restaurants & bars on resort are good as well. The property was lovely. Lots of pools and fun recreation for our kids - ping pong, soccer court, games room, kids club. It was a lovely relaxing place to be for a family with young kids. The market was also a plus! Well stocked with fresh baked goods daily and reasonably priced for a resort shop. the level of service from the team especially,gabrielle,colo,dave, sarah,and manuel,They made a real effort with us and made it feel like home, it was the best service i have had for quite a while,the food at el med was wonderful,and the design of the facility was great. Quality of the appartment Richness of facilities, pools, heated pools, spas etc. Beautifully designed and maintained gardens Access to beach Friendly and helpful staff Underground parking facilities with easy access to appartment. Appartments are very comfortable and there are everything what you need. Free wifi everywhere. Free underground parking where you can get to by the elevator next door to your room. I like everything, the apartment was excellent, the pools, the market place, all is perfect, I would like to return. Thank you very much. (sorry for my english). Staff was extremely helpful, facility was beautiful, 2 br apartment was very spacious for our family of 5, perfect location for exploring Andalucia!. I liked the security .the quiet areas for adults only . The family parts were amazing and I would take my grandchildren there without a doubt. Everything! Beds were amazing. Staff very friendly. Place was clean. Set on a beach. Not too far away from Marbella town. very helpful staff, very large and comfortable apartment. nice pool area, great food and would stay again!. Service. good resort for children particularly ages 7-14,lots of things for them to do while parents sit by the pool! apartments are well equipped. site shop is well stocked for self catering. nothing... everything was wonderful!. Difficult to find with the gps. No other restaurants within walking distance. The food on the resort was average at best and over priced. While we chose to cook in our room most days or dine off the resort, we felt for a resort of this stature that the restaurant options on sight could have offered better quality for the price. Nothing. Main restaurant too "international cuisine" would have appreciated more Spanish dishes and atmosphere Not easy to find the first time,better indicaations from main highway. They have check in after 16 and check out until 10 am. Pool was very cold, there is not heater. We arrived at 14 with the baby (6 months) and we had to wait check-in about 2 hours, because they were preparing appartments for us. I don't know why it takes so much time. Nothing, I like all the resort. Nothing. a representative phoning on last but one day giving a bottle champagne and loalty card I have yet to receive was not left on reception so not good. Food was ok, not great Outdoor pools were cold. A bit of a drive from Old Town Marbella. Food at the resort was expensive!. Forgotten food in the fridge, no room service, broken toilet flush, Tv remote controls don't work properly. Didnt have more time.....Really enjoyed the 8 days.... Marriott guests being asked to pay for beach chairs (of Marriotts). Early checkout 10am. outdoor pools were too cold. Sales pressure to buy membership at ridiculously inflated prices. nothing. Nothing. Nothing to dislike. Weather. . On site shop/market ridiculously overpriced. The Apartment should atleast be stocked with drinking water in the refregerator. maybe another family orientated restaurant would be good as you do need a car to go anywhere else.
