Very well situated for visiting historic centre of Malaga & beach. Also very close to the marina where there are lots of bars and restaurants. Receptionist efficient & helpful. No restaurant but no problem either as receptionist gave us cards for 3 restaurants at the marina which gave us a 10% discount. Breakfast in a nearby bar was pleasant (cost €3.50).The a bus to the airport is about 4 minutes on foot from the hotel - very practical. Wifi worked well in hotel. Very good value for th.
all reviews » The receptionist when we checked in was very friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and the bathroom was good for the money. The location was excellent, a five minute walk from the city centre. Also, the 24 hour reception was very convenient. We really enjoyed our stay. Very close to the city of malaga, by the tunnel only 10 min walk. Good speaking reception. Go for the top floor to enjoy the view. balcony great for sunbathing even in nov. Have now stayed in all medium priced hotels in this area and feel this place might be better as a backpackers than a hotel.Its in a great position but the owners need to make the ground floor area more like a hotel than a closing down shop.Not for me ever again but it is value for money if you get a good deal for a room. Great value for money, we only paid 70 euros per person for a studio. The bathroom and kitchen were quit modern en decent. The location was perfect, right off the beach, the Alcabaza and the harbour. 10-15 minutes walk to the city center (depending what route you take). The parking is an underground car park, and is not actually private- there are people who pay to park their cars there, perhaps they are residents in nearby houses. Sadly, we were on the very bottom floor of the car park and it was difficult to get into and out of- especially as someone had partially blocked us in. The twin bed is on wheels, likely to displace. The view on the port is good including the bullfighter ring. breakfast included would have been better, instead of having to go to a nearby bar. We had 3 studios. 2 were great and one was really bad! But we got it changed for a double bedroom without any hesitation. Very basic but fair enough for the very reasonable price. Bad view in the room. Not sun at all Inside. No wifi in the room. The beds (in the studio) were really hard, not recommended for though sleepers or people with a back problem. Staff should be graded very poor. They gave us half information and showed unwillingness and apathy.
