access to metro,good breakfast slection,friendly staff, lovely hotel felt brand new although opened in 2005. The front desk staff were very helpful.Very Comfortable and relaxing. Central location and just a few metres from Metro, Clean, comfortable and spacious room and bathroom. Nice breakfast buffet with fresh fruits and juices etc. My son (age 13) exclaimed that he thought it was a five star hotel, and I could join him in that - only then I would have expected the breakfast buffet to be even better.
all reviews » Location - only 5-minute walk to the nearest Metro station. Within 15 minutes by Metro you can get to the centre. Excellent buffet breakfast offering good variety of food. The only problem I had was an internet connection. I was on the 3rd floor and WiFi signal did not reach me. The WiFi works perfect in the lobby. The truth is that the reception solved the problem immediately and gave me a cable to be on their LAN. Nevertheless, the more people were on the LAN (esp. in the evening), the more often made you disconnected.Partition walls are not well sound proofed. The place, a little too far from the centrum. Breakfast buffet was not great quality, though sufficient and varied. Waiters were mostly rude. It said at booking that the parking costed 17 Euros per day, but it actually costed 27 Euros.Noise from other room can easily be notices. Location. a little expensive compare to price hotel in Madrid near Puerta del sol. Didn't have internet accessiblity because hotel did not have adaptor for American computer. However, the front desk helped us find a shop that had adaptors we could purchase and even gave us a city map to help us fid it.breakfast to expense, if not included in the reservation. The week I stayed there was very cold and the room heating was either too hot and windy or wouldn't switch on without calling the front desk. The upper 100cm of the room was >25 degrees and the lower part 15 degrees. Thsi proble is probabluy due to the Spanish lack of experience with cold weather.I purchased a phone card to allow for phone calls to the states. After three days I was approched by the front desk and informed about an 85E phone bill. I was told that the phone card was not accepted by the hotel. I checked out of the hotrel two days early and returned to the States. The noice /especially in the evenings/ is really awful.Bathroom to small, and breakfast far too expensive. It said that it served breakfast until 11am. we arrived at 10.20 and there was no food left and the staff were very aggressive and unhelpful. Would never use this hotel for food again. Walls in Hotel very thin, could hear everything next door. Paying for Deposit safe not good.
