The hotel is in a convenient location for visits to museums, and it is in a less touristy area of Madrid. The room itself was extremely quiet and dark for sleeping, but also had a nice view. The hotel called me to move me to another hotel due to technical problems. it was the catalonia las cortes..... good hotel......Friendly staff, clean, modern and comfortable. Most staff spoke englishwhich was good.

The building, dating back to S. XIX, has been totally refurbished. The architecture of the building is similar to the old houses from that century; the facade of the building is made with face brick and has beautiful views from crystal windows with forged iron grates.
Inside the hotel contains stylish furniture that combines dark colours to contrast with the red decoration.
