Elvira suites is located on calle elivira which is really close to gran via, i.e. the heart of the city. Where you are able to catch bus directly to al hambra and also to sacramonte its located on a street with many halal restaurants and a supermarket. Though the street isnt very nice, but once you enter elvira you are in for a very pleasant suprise. A GEM as many have described it. The ladies at the reception welcomed us and were happy to keep our bags until check in time. we got the best apar.
all reviews » The apartment was very spacious, sleek and modern, extremely clean. There was a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived - unfortunately, I broke the bottle and wasn't able to enjoy the wine. The staff was very helpful, location was close to public transportation and a few blocks away was this great restaurant - Meson Andaluz which I highly recommend. Lots of eating places in the area from different budgets. The Sevilla Cathedral was about 2 blocks away. The apartment had 2 sofas in t. Beautiful and excellent value in Granada. When we arrived, we could not tell from the street what a special and beautiful place this would be, but once we entered the front door, we were so thrilled with it. The young woman at the reception desk also speaks perfect English and was very helpful. Everything was perfect, really better than hoped for. Could not have a better stay in a large, beautiful apt. while in Granada --and of course the Alhambra is an absolute must-see in southern Spain!! Hi. We had a wonderful time at the Elvira Suites, the staff was super helpful and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Stayed at a 2 bedroom apartment which was in pristine conditions. Upon arrival we had a bottle of wine waiting for us on the table, nice touch! The information given to us on what to see and where to go was perfect. Had a problem with hooking up our laptop computer to the Wifi and the receptionist by name of Marina got it going in a short time. We can recommend Elvira Sui. What a great place to stay in Granada! We almost didn't want to leave and wished we stayed longer. It's a wonderfully restored building. Decor is very design-conscious. The apartment was very spacious and proved to be an amazing place to unwind after our two tours of Alhambra. It's a great value for the money and an excellent location. We highly recommend it. Staff was super friendly and accommodating, particularly Christina, Sophia and Martina (I hope I spelled all those names right). Everyone spoke very good English which was very helpful for us. We had a lot of requests for Taxis, reservations, and the like and they were unfailing cheerful every time. Would definitely recommend. Beautiful suite in a nicely renovated heritage building. Very well located (near city centre and Alhambra). New and modern facilities and furnishings --beds are big and very comfortable. Staff very helpful and friendly, and offered great tips and dining recommendations --thank you, Cristina!. We got the best one bedroom apartment. It was extremely large, comfortable, clean, with a wonderful balcon viewed to the nice court. The girls on the reception were very helpful and friendly. (And the gift bottle of wine was really delicious.). My fourth visit and standards have been unfailingly outstanding. Nothing is too much trouble for the ladies who run Elvira and who make a stay so enjoyable. Very helpful staff, free laundry service, beautiful suite and even a bonus bottle of welcome wine! When we arrived, the road which was a one way street just before the hotel was under repair and we have to back up the car a block away in order to leave our bags and drive to the parking garage (no fault of the facility). Nothing. Nothing. The beds were too short for my 6'3 husband and that was unfortunate. We managed ok but Cal King is optimal and that does not seem to exist anywhere we have traveled in Europe. Our room faced the street, and we were there over the Fiesta de las Cruces (1st weekend in May) so the noise at night was a bit annoying: pedestrian traffic leaving night venues was a bit rowdy --though probably is not so bad at other times of the year or in other rooms. The only problem, that there is no sound proofing, and the Elvira street is awful noisy all night. (Although the staff offered us a silent apartment, when I complained, but finally we didn't change our wonderful apartment.). Nothing. 1. Very cold floor in the room, because made of marble. You need sneakers. Separate beds :( though this seems common throughout Spain. The two single beds attached to make a double one was not that comfortable. nothing. first day room it was noisy because it was towards street but frankly staff has offered to reallocated to new room. As the living room is too big, it got really cold in November. nothing at all. The street outside the hotel can feel a bit suspect at times. no washing machine. the water heater offers 30 mins hot water, then needs to take a 15 mins break, but actually more than 15 mins. I had to wait for more than 1 hour for hot water after 4 friends finished shower. Having to leave. Nothing. Could not adjust the temperature to be comfortable in the evening. The bed was not good. Two single beds atached to make one. parking arrangement did not work well. Car park was too far away.
