I liked the price cheap for a one night stay, easy to get too by local bus 2e per person pr1 bus from the terminal at airport off the first stop then 5 mins walk behind the police station. (Taxi's start at 25€ before driving off!!!) Wifi on rooms too,for free a good touch. Good for budget 1 night stay. There is a cafe and vending machines but it doesn't have good old fashioned tea for the Brits!!! Staff very helpful and friendly.
all reviews » Yes, it is a hostel. Booked for 2, but it looks like all rooms are for 4. Double checked with the reception to make sure I do not get any extra people at night. Towels an extra, but there was one available in the room. Breakfast was sufficient, everything clean. Take bus pr1 from the airport. I assume it is the first stop from Terminal 2 next to Police station. Google maps location is accurate. I just needed to pass one night near to the airport to get a flight really early in the morning and that's what I got, a place next to a bus stop with buses that go directly there. It was really clean, the internet worked, there is no kitchen, but a restaurant. I stayed in a big room for 6 people, but there was only me and 1 other really nice girl. The fact that it's close to the airport and the design is eco- friendly. I expected it to be noisy since it's so close to El Prat but I didn't hear any planes and slept very well. No frogs, no mosquitoes.The receptionists were friendly and helpful. I would definitely return and recommend it to my friends and family :). Fully enjoyed my short stay at this hotel. Staff more than helpful and accommodating. Computer available for free with internet. Café, standard food but cant complain for the price! Was leaving early in the morning and staff provided me with a breakfast bag to take away with me. Would recommend. + low price for room + hotel is very close to the airport - terminal 2 (15 to 20 min on feet - but unfortunately through bushes - and about 5 min by bus) + clean room + helpful service + 5 minutes from hotel to bus stop (towards: Barcelona, Airport) + 15 minutes to shop Mercadona (walk). This wonderful hostel had free parking, excellent rooms, helpful staff, good food late at night and for breakfast (the latter is included). The location is perfect for Barcelona airport, and you could stay here happily to visit the city, too. I like it's design, his enviroment, it's breakfast is great and delicious, the bed is comfortable. It is easy to reach to Barcelona center, it will take you not more than half an hour. The airport is minutes away but the whole complex is miraculously free of noise and thoughtfully constructed. This hostel was located in a small town that near the city center of Barcelona. The design and atmosphere was good, but it would take a bit time to get there by bus from the airport. Price and location, you can easily walk from airport t2c or take the bus. However, the walking route is complicated. There is also bus service to city center from the hotel. The best youth hostel I have been. The room is big and the shower and toilet is well furnished. I did not have any surprises as I've read prior reviews, but having a minibus service to the airport would not heart as taxis charge at least 20 euros. There are no signs on the hostel or indications from the bus stop. I didn't like that it's difficult to find a place to eat, it was 3 pm, and there was only 1 small market close and opened in the middle of the week with almost no option, I waited the hostel restaurant open, but there was no options for me, so it's better to buy food in Barcelona or go there without being hungry. There is nothing not to like!. the cleanliness would be better...mostly as far as the breakfast facility concern (dirty cutleries, for example..). And, this hostel likes a concert hall. The acustic is perfect, altough unfortunately it is not a music place, that is why it would be problem you will hear every tiny noise. On top of that, the walls are really-really thin. Using earplugs is essential. Spartan room. Can be cold in winter and no separation between toilet and bath (only a shower screen). Bring ear plugs !!! The area it's in is a little seedy. I took a bus there at 10 pm and worried just a little if I might be safe walking the 200 m from the bus stop to the hotel. But it was fine. Arriving at midnight with young child, 3 bags...min charge 20 euros and 5 because I had bags!!! The meter fare was 9 euros. I know the hotel has a deal for 15 euros to the airport, but its just one way. A little noisy. No soap in the bathroom. difficult to find way to reach hostel by walking from airport. This is a hotel part of a social project for the young, in a neighbourhood that is poor, so it can be noisy at night outside. Frogs outside the balcony, could not really sleep because of them till 1am. Shower, the floor got all wet. 84 eur pr night for a family is not cheap.
