I did not know the reception is not open at seven o'clock in the morning.   Irenaz resort was located on the edge of a beautiful green valley that was so relaxing. There was often music traveling up from somewhere on the mountain and it made us really feel like we were in Europe. The location is a bit out of San seb city but the bus stop is 100metres down the road and for 1.60 euro takes you 11-15 minutes to get into town... what people say » . The staff were really lovely and helpful with everything from beaches, San Fermin and resturants. The rooms were beautiful and clean and the bathroo - The apartments were very modern and private, overlooking the valley on the outskirts of San Sebastián. We specifically chose the location because we had a car we didn't want to use in the city and parking was free. The apartments were close to a bus stop with regular buses taking about 15 minutes to reach the centre of the city. The reception staff were very helpful in assisting us with a damage report we needed to fax to the leasing company.

  The pension was spotlessly clean. My room was stylish and modern which isn't always that case in Spain! The bed was really comfortable and there wasn't much noise from other rooms which was great. Pilar (who I think is the owner?) and the other staff were so helfpul and welcoming - they had lots of suggestions for things to do and helped me sor... what people say » t travel for next parts of my trip. It's really close to the Playa de Conca but in a quiet street so not lot of noise. It's definitely a step up from - The 'pension' is a delight. It is a small, family run enterprise in a back street, about four hundred yards from the main beach and eight hundred yards from the old town. It is spotlessly clean, recently refurbished and well run. The boss greets you on your arrival, sees to your very need and helps you with directions to a private, secure car park facility one hundred yards away. I would go back tomorrow - or whenever I next go to San Sebastián.

  Superb value for money, a 2 minute walk from a beautiful beach surrounded by mountains in a small bay. I was travelling with 2 small dogs and it's not always easy to find pet-friendly hotels but they were so accommodating and helpful. The rooms were spacious and immaculately clean, in fact it was better than some 4 star hotels I've stayed in.
