It was great. As the price was very good I didnt expect a lot but then I was really surprised about this wonderful place. It is not the typical hotel or hostel you may know it is more like a big flat with several rooms. Some of them have an own bathroom for the rest there is one shared bathroom. Moreover there is a kittchen and a really nice living room with a big table for the breakfast and a nice balcony. It is definitely not the right place for people who dont like to get in touch with other.

The hotel itself is a beautiful floor of a townhouse right on rambla catalunya (not to be confused with la rambla as we did!) seemed to us like the 'posh end' of la rambla, our room faced the bustling street with our own little balcony with beautiful views up and down, there is also a larger terrace/balcony off the communal living area for smokers or just evening drinks, not a brilliant view from back terrace but is still very ple. Clean and comfortable, our room even had a private balcony. A huge plus was the staff, Ines was lovely and told us places to go and see, she even stayed after she was finished to chat with everyone so we got to meet the other guests too. We even got a free bottle of cava. The location of the hotel is brilliant as well, just 5 minutes away from La Rambla, but close to the shopping district as well. Big rooms,clean. Full of character . It is on the Rambla and ideally located for a city visit. The breakfast was good and would meet most tastes. Clientes need to wash their own dishes if they respect other clients. There is plenty of tea and coffee making things and places sit to read , relax or just roam the web by computer. WiFi is free and fast. the suite was not noisy. the staff is very friendly and helpful. we were absolutely confident with the room for this price. its just about 5 min to placa catalunya, and the center of barcelona... there are also many sites in walk distance to the hotel. you have a small breakfast included, but theres a fully equiped kitchen, where you can cook by yourself if you like. The hotel was lovely, everything clean and comfortable including the shared bathroom and kitchen. Ines, the woman working there, was brilliant and always asking if everything was ok and making us feel really included. The location of the hotel was in the middle of everything with great metro links. I would definately stay here again. A very friendly and spacious apartment. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent location in the city. It was lovely to be able to make tea or coffee in the kitchen at any time of day. We were able to leave the suitcases in the apartment until we needed them. In February low season place was unbelievably peaceful and quiet. Excellent location in very safe surroundings couple of minutes walk from Placa Catalunya and undergound. Breakfast was totally adequate. Friendly staff. I liked everything there in our six nights stay. spanish-designed place, clean rooms and bathroom, very nice hotel stuff, localization close to subway station and city centre (Rambla), nice, relaxing atmosphere, good for both couples and group of friends, warm in winter time. The Room was comfortable, they receive us with a bottle of champagne, the breakfast was great and the service is awesome! The biggest plus is how well locate it is. Great value for money! clean & comfy ... mostly shared bathrooms. Good for the price & in the heart of Barcelona. I highly recommend this place. The hostess, Ines, was absolutely wonderful! We didn't have high expectations and got exactly what we expected. We didn't spend much time in the room is it worked out well. The facilities were clean. The rooms were quiet when the fan was running. The location was perfect. It was right on La Rambla so there were tons of restaurants and shops near by. Would say that when first arriving just look out for number 41 rambla catalunya , no hotel sign just a a slip of paper next to the intercom buzzer saying BCN suites. Although confusing at first if you hadn't been warned, is nice as it feels like you are just walking into your own place once you have the key :). The breakfast could be better, but it is free so I shouldn't complain and we did share the bathroom, but this kept clean and tidy and there were no queues to try and get in. Shared bathroom although the bathroom was clean, tidy and never had to wait. It included a bidet. It is difficut to find.The building number is above the door. There is no signage. It was not very clear where the apartments were - just a small sign by the door. Breakfast would have been better with a little more choices, such as yoghurt and/or bananas. Street noise ( but what else could you expect ) but if you get a room facing to the inside of the big Eixample block you really don't have a neighbouring wall in just front of you. only one bathroom for ca. 13 people could be considered as a small inconvenience :(. Staff weren't very available out of hours but tried to be helpful anyway. In the rooms at front of bulding is too cold on cooller days. There was only one toliet for every guest to share which was also in the same place as the shower. The breakfast was not good either. There is no AC in the room but there is a fan that works well. Don't be late in checkin, because the staff have set hours. Therefore, there's not always staff in the house. Nothing. Noisy one bathroom is not enough Poor Breakfast. I wouldn't do the shared bathroom again. It seemed like we were always waiting to use the bathroom, but once again you get what you pay for. You can hear everything in the corridor, so if you have difficulties sleeping with any noise, better to take ear plugs with. And a tip, yes it is in that address, even there are no signs of a hotel. sheared bathroom, poor breakfast, sheared doors in the rooms, very expensive for a room with no bathroom. Room without air condition.
