I love this hotel. It seems that pension is ran by family and everyone are really friendly to help me with everything and they arrange me a very quiet room. Though the building is very very old.the interior of rooms and furniture are quiet new.The room is exacly the same as what you can see from the pictures.Every where in this pension is very clean, the house keepers are very nice ladies and they do excellent jobs. This pension is very suitable for solo travellers who are looking for low-cost .

Also valuable for the price and calm place if you need to rest or sleep after a great night or a long walk in the city. Perfect location - in the veeeeery center...everything is near. I had comfortable and cozy room, Place seems safe, since everyone has key and without key no one cen get it. And there is a roof terrace!. Best location. Stone's throw away from the shopping street. Room was cleaned everyday and towels were replaced with new ones. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beautifully renovated. Ample space in the room with several cabinets. The hotel gives you opportunity to discover the city with it's private interior life which is normally closed for the travelers. I stayed for 2 days before my flight to another destination. Keeping this in mind, I'd say the place was perfect for my needs. Really close to the major points of attraction in Barcelona and if you need to go somewhere else the metro station is also preaty close. Me and my wife chose to walk around the city and it was nice but another way would be to rent a bike and there is a renting shop very close to the pension (aro. The place is at the center of Barcelona. The cost is little. the good location,,,close to LAS RAMBLAS. The lock of the room I stayed in was broken. I can only lock it when i leave the room but can't lock it from inside. I would suggest the pension to get new towels. If windows of your room will be to street, it migh be noisy. very thin walls, small separated toilet. Almost no sound insolation. Each sound in the corridor and even outside is heard in the room. Would highly recommend earplugs. the view from our room - to the pipes outside the batchroom. Room doors should have a more secure lock. Washing machine should be available for use to tenants. An elevator would be great. poor WiFi service in the room(2nd floor). some time my sink is blocked. Little noise during the night but only with windows into the street. there is no enough hot watter, so you need to get in to the shower first :). Nowhere to hang up clothes or towel in the bathroom. The walls are very thin, noisy. We cannot take meal for the moment but it will possible soon. Very close to ramblas but streeet itself a little more "dodgy" neighboorhood... Basic furniture but it's ok for short trip. Too many stairs for an old guy :-). Noise, bed. Terrible wifi. Poor English but its ok. A little cold in the night. since there were pubs in the lane, it was noisy even after midnight, we could not sleep till late coz people were screaming. It was decently clean place but emprovements can be made. The view from my room was ... interesting; an apartment building that I was sure it was deserted , but it was not. Another thing that could be important is the fact that there are probably 5 rooms/flor (and 4 flors) and if all are occupied the place can become preaty loud. On our last night we hardly could sleep. If there is no AC in the room, the fan will be really helpful mainly in summer time during night. Bed linen was not so clean, some old spots were there and the towel was old also and some old spots were there also. I could not find reception, there were not any signs/arrows (it is in 3rd floor). *) There are only two self service maschines for drinks and snacks. No breakfast available. *) no elevator and small stairs. With big luggage its not comfortable to get into the 3rd floor. Noisy. Hotel customers tend to be very noisy. The rooms that are next to the street are extremely noisy. The owners need to isolate/insulate the street windows. we were put on the 4th floor this accommodation did not have lifts and it was pretty exhausting getting to your room after a full day of site seeing or an evening out . you were only given 1 set off keys (asked for another set but non available)so you had to return at the same time .pretty hot in the summer no ac just a room window that opened out on to a pretty noisy run down court yard - and run down builds . Too noisy at times...especially the front rooms. I do not recommend for couples with trolleys since it has many stairs with no lift. You have to avoid staying at any room that is on the road since at night we could not sleep with the shouting of peaopl inthe streets at the very late night. Ask for a room inside. Noisy surroundings. - Uncomfortable beds - 4th floor (at booking time they should tell that room is on 4th floor, en there is no lift) - noise. Doggy neighborhood, don't feel safe walking around. The bathroom... During the weekend is very loud.. Staff doesn't speak english. Not as clean and very noisy. You can get a better deal if you look outside this zone. very modestly furnished room. bad view from the windows. there is no way to take hot water for coffee. without breakfast. need to be more clean,,and more quit,,.
