Close to Las Rambla, easy to get to public transportation, buffet breakfast was a good value for the 9 euro price. Staff very helpful when my wallet was pick pocketed on the street near the hotel, a big problem in Barcelona. Everything: perfect location, very good breakfest, acceptable room for people who came to Barcelona for few days, Internet, convenient bathroom and etc.Location was fantastic. Right off the ramblas, but quiet at night as away from gothic quarter. Great room at front of hotel with balcony.

No windows, Dangerous neighborhood,. the room was used previously by smoking person and the aeration possibilities were limited.Room Safe costs 2.5Euro/day!!!!, only one english TV channel, Scary nighbourhood at night, Had hard time finiding the hotel because of it's small Sign!,. not really but after the fact we learned about a small surcharge for the extra bed for my child.construction noise began at 9:30 - stored paint and materials in stairways -- possible fire hazard. getting to the hotel in the evening along a rather unpleasant dirty road.from Las Ramblas, but the next day we found a better route. Location as a whole was great...but actual street wasn't the best. Elevators. It was taking a long time to get to the room (if you are staying in the 5th floor rooms like me). Beds!. Our room on the 5th floor is only accessable through the use of 2 (!) elevators. You have to use both and there is some walk between them.No French TV cable programme. Extra cot to use safe in the room. view outside to the yard. initially hard to find..but then no problem. The room was quite small and the bed was really bad. too warm (due to heating). they don´t have parking. Cleaning staff were not that thorough with the bathroom, but that may have been due to a trucker's strike. Price was still a bit steep for the hotel quality and location is not in a great area of the city. Small Room. Didn't feel safe at night in the surrounding area.the loud television with CNN in the hall. This was awful !! My suggestion: select Euronews and half the volume !!!!!. The neighboorhood of the hotel.- few switches for the lights and few sockets for personal electronics. the computers weren't supported of korean. The lack of restaurant and the charge for safe keys ( should be free ), and dangerous shower cubicle floor ( guests can easily slip and fall ) were concerns as well as lack of window views, mini bar refrigerator for the price charged. The TV channels were limited with few English language stations available. The hotel was still having extensive renovation in progress, but I don't think this was the reason that one of the elevators very close to the reception was nearly always broken ( out of service) .The shower in my room - it seems that the owner wanted somethig sofisticated but it turned out for the guests to be a nightmare , since it haven't worked properly all the time( water pressure) .room very small, neighborhood not to pretty, but ok. I think it was a little too expencive.
