Location excellent, plenty to do during the day, quiet at night in immediate vicinity of hotel- easy to get a good night's sleep. Literally 2 minutes walk to Las Ramblas- everything happening here..selection of restaurants,pubs and nightclubs. Spacious room with effective aircon system. Room cleaned daily. Very helpful and friendly staff.good facilities including rooftop pool for chilling!.
all reviews » Located right in the heart of the city, convenient for all attractions just a moments walk from Ramblas and round the corner from the Cathedral. The rooms were very modern and well fitted out having plenty of space and the bathrooms were great. Staff were very polite and helpful. I did not use the bar or restaurant facilities so cannot comment on these but they looked good.Our ship docked at 5 a.m. and we expected to leave our bags at the hotel until we were able to check in. Instead we were given our room as soon as we arrived and were able to get a few more hours rest before beginning our day in Barcelona. That was very much appreciated!!. The hotel was fantastic! The location was perfect and the quality of the hotel superb, particularly for a boutique hotel. The staff were kind and helpful, and our overall experience in Barcelona was greatly enhanced by our stay at the Catedral.Excellent location right in the centre. Very friendly personnel, very willing to assist. Furthermore they offered bikes for free, so we had the opportunity to do Barcelona by bike, which is a fantastic way to visit all the touristic sites. This is the first time i was ever charged for this service.Courtesy coffee in room should be replenished each day (a small niggle!). The bed was pretty hard.I didnt like that they didn't have a person at the restaurant ready for service at all times, I wanted to eat dinner at the restaurant and didn't have any one at my service within a decent timing so I ended up eating else where (the restaurant wasn't busy, so there was no good excuse for no one being there).I didn't like that room service ended at 930p and they need more English t.v. channels.
