Location was fantastic, read alot of poor reviews before visiting Sant Carlo but it was perfectly fine. My partner and I had a double room with our own bathroom. Wasn't huge but had shower, sink and loo. Flat screen TV on wall, stand up fan provided. Was able to use hostel facilities after checking out, shower etc. Friendly staff that speak good English and are helpful. The Hostel is on the 3rd floor of an apartment block, easy to find, buzzer at main door. If you're not looking for 5 star luxu. all reviews »

In the book indicated the presence of one double beds, and one child. In
fact, there were 3 separate beds. Staff answered and said - "there
is no other rooms .. Sorry ..". The room on the floor - the cold
tile. Very very poor room. Been to other hostels, this did not like ..
Rooms are very smal! 2*2 meters! No windows! If u a bit care about comfort - it's not for u. Room like a little cage. uncomfortable bed.

Hair on the walls of the bathroom,there was no windows, three times smaller then on Internet. No sign of the hostel on the building.
We had the smallest double room we've ever stayed in. our private shower room was tiny. The communal bathroom was in a state of disrepair.
The Indian Guy was the most mean and unpleasant ever. And it was not
due to language barriers. I will never come back or recommend this
place to anyone.
It was on site as a hotel we had no idea was a hostel till we arrive rooms tiny bed tiny bad value for money.

Told me I had not paid by card and had to pay at reception. Returned
from the trip to find they had deducted the money from my account. Paid
twice for an awful room. Absolutely rip-off. Don't get scammed.
