1. LOCATION is excellent, very close to Metro station (Placa Sants) & several bus shelters (easy to go and explore the city). Hotel also near the Sants Train Station and ALSA bus ticket counter (if you want to go to other city by bus). Many supermarkets (supermercat) nearby the hotel to buy some fruit, juice, snacks, or toiletries. Hotel also surrounding by beautiful parks, many choices of bakery (Macxipa is a good one), coffee shop & restaurants (Pans & company Fried Chicken).
all reviews » This is a modest accommodation in a very good location near the main train station in Barcelona. If you are a walker like me, you can get to all the sights by foot. Alternatively, you can get everywhere by Metro which is a few steps away from the hotel. The room was small but adequate, it was clean. It wan't pristine, but it was acceptable. My room had a balcony which was an amazing bonus. The WiFi was strong. The towels were changed daily. The hotel has elevator and a 24hr desk. Very close to Sants train station and metro, reasonable price for staying in a clean, although quite simply furnished room. Would recommend to travelers on a budget, who are not looking for luxurious accommodation at all. Breakfast not served there, but there's plenty of cafes, pastry shops, and bars just outside the door. A hostel to spend 1-2 nights while travelling to Barcelona. We chose it because its close proximity to Barcelona Sants Railway Station. There is also a metro station around the corner. Sans next time. Great location, very close to the train station and the metro, prety safe area around it. The place is clean, they clean our room avery day, which is very good considering the place is a hostel not a hotel. Excellent location just a short 5/8minute walk from sants station. If you have a window facing the back of the building, even if it is in your bathroom, beware that there is a school right behind the building, so it gets really loud around 8am. The hotel charges your credit card the day before you arrive, which for me meant that I had to pay a foreign exchange fee to my credit card company. Little shower, with strange door. Location is not centre, but there is metro near it. I think not for vacation with children. Some staff did not speak much english - but that is a very minor thing, as always some sort of message eventually got through. For the price, I dont think there is anything I could complain about. Size of the room was fine for a single person, but it had two (completely separate) single beds (and I booked a double room for single use) - and I can't imagine two people staying there. No electricity points to charge your electronical equipments. For the price..nothing. It looked like a prison cell. no breakfast. Rooms are not luxury but fumctional. Room backed onto the lift shaft ; very noisy in the mornings.Electricity socket in the bedroom didn't work and the shower head diffuser was broken. Bit dated, but cannot complain for the price, nearby hotels are double.. The rooms are very much simple and cold. There are noises all night long.
