I liked everything about this hotel. The apartment is fully furnished, with top of the line items, everything was very comfortable. I will not describe the basic facilities, they were all great - I will just mention few extras: 1 - safe box in room - huge! can contain a laptop, bit cameras etc. 2 - When checking out, if you want to leave your luggage at the hotel, they offer you quite big lockers that operate with a 1 Euro coin - you get the coin back when you empty the locker, so actually it.
all reviews » Location of appartment house Eric Vökel is very good both for public transport (Metro Rocafort 100m away) and for finding a taxi late at night, plenty of restaurants and shopping in the former bullfight arena 5min away. The appartment was exactly as described with pleasant interior design and furniture, WiFi both in all the building a well as free 24h desktop pc station in the entrance hall. I do not understand people complaining about the elevator, it is from 1900 and carefully renovated and c. this place was at an excellent location next to Metro (Rocafort). going to La Rambla took 5mins by metro. It was a nice area. Hotel/flat itself was excellent with no complaints to make. All amenities were covered. We did our own shopping for breakfast and snacks and had an excellent stay. There is also free WiFi which is very handy to plan anything as well as stay in touch with emails etc. I highly recommend this place for family, couples and especially group of friends. Staff were polite and h. We liked everything about this apartment it was chic and spacious, clean fully equipped and very comfortable, Close to all local amenities two 24 hr supermarkets and a fabulous patisserie next door... Walking distance to Plaza Espania and a 2 stop ride on the metro to La Ramblas. Apartments were very secure and reception was readily available. I would have no hesitation recommending this facility to anyone and will definitely be using these apartments again/. The design and standard of furnishings in the flats were impressive. The apartment was centrally located to everything we wished to visit with access to the metro and bus tours. Also with a variety of restaurants close by where you can sit in the pleasant sun/shade and enjoy a variety of tapas. Hotel staff were very friendly! We asked them to purchase the train tickets for us since renfe only accepts spanish credit card. Unfortunately, they do not have a business credit card for the company. Other than that, everything else was perfect. Sound insulation could be improved. Otherwise, nothing at all!. it takes a bit too long to check in. there's only one key for a double room suite . No mirrors apart from bathrooms Water on/off in showers. It's good to know, that there is a school on same courtyard - expect some noise to your during the days, if you open the window or sit on the terrace. The lift although quaint but was not very reliable when on the top floor. The air conditioning was very noisy(unable to sleep) .. the bed was very uncomfortable. They tried to move us to another hotel 2 days prior to arrival. The elevator is too small and slow, no clock in the suite, no rubber on the shower floor which is very slippery and thus unsafe. -too few glasses and koffeemugs for 4 persons, no cava glasses - elevator was slow. Nice balcony had a bed in it!so couldn't use Sofa very hard and uncomfortable- looked like a sofa bed. Claimed to have an i-pod dock- actually was a usb port in television. No information on how to reset heating which was completely wrong day/time etc so heating came on in the middle of the night. Notice telling you not to put rubbish in corridor but no information on where to put rubbish. Very noisy when adjoining school had interval breaks. Spartan- not welcoming at all. Not 4star or boutique.
