The room was exactly as described and it was immaculate. Free bottled water was provided every day in the minifridge. There is a room safe. The desk is staffed 24 hours a day with and efficient, English speaking staff. There is a locked luggage room where you can leave your bags if you arrive early or check out but have a late flight. The staff was excellent -- they were very helpful and very courteous. The restaurant had a very good dinner menu. The room was clean and modern. The fact that there is a bus directly from the BCN airport that drops you off a block away from the hotel was extremely convenient.all reviews »
This hotel was easy to access from train station and we had easy access to metro station. The location is amazing and we would highly recommend this hotel. It far exceeded our expectations. The staff was very friendly and informative on the city. When asked for recomendations on restaruants, their recomendations were all excellent! Hotel is close to a metro station.Everything was really great!! the only fact is that its not close at the center (45 min. walking), but with the metro is only 3 or 4 stations!!! Everything else excellent!!!!!. Ease of access to central Barcelona, closiness to attractions, very clean and comfortable rooms, excellent service! Couldn't have asked for more!. It was convienent to the metro and shopping centre. The access to/from airport can be done using bus 46. I also liked the simplicity of the room.The bed was a little too firm and the pillows were thin, but we slept fine nonetheless. No, I was very pleased !. Not right in the heart of the city but right by the bus stop for theBus Turistic tour of the city which was very handy and we used this toget us around. Be aware there is a Gran Via hotel (not so nice) on theother side of town so do make sure you go to the correct one - wedidn't at first !!!. Towels a little small and thin. hairdryer was very poor but its a minor complaint! also bar closes very early. breakfast is expensive. We only got to stay one night!. The price of breakfast! Far too expensive.my wife would of preferd a bath instead of a shower. food wasn't great. the room was a bit too hot at times. Too far from the centre.mattress was a bit hard. There should hae been an option for letting some sort of airconditioning work during the day when you´re away from the room, as the AC on our floor was so slow it took hours to come down to acceptable temperatures on the days Barcelona had a temperature of more than 28 degrees (C).They recommended a tourist trap of a restaurant to go have dinner at.Stay away from barca de salamanca!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I wasn't attracted by the bar except for a nightcap, but then so many wonderful Barcelona tapas bars to choose from!. Should provide free access to the Internet from their computers. Internet is a commodity these days.
