I thought the place was fabulous as it consisted of a brand new, low rise building, housing 12 apartments in a beautiful garden full of palm trees, collected from all over the world and all meticulously labled. The apt was very modern. in pristine condition, with a washing machine and dish washer, and balcony overlooking the swimming pool and garden. We had our breakfast on it every morning. There was wonderful roof terrace and also enclosed social room with comfortable sofas and wide screen T.
all reviews » Just to say we both cannot praise Pablo the manager highly enough as he was excellent. We traveled to the apt via a car hired from the airport record go (will not use them again as no satnav available to hire crazy!) due to this we were unable to fnd our way there and pablo bless him came out of his way to guide us to the apt. What was even better we managed to borrow a gps off him as he was so kind and took pitty on us (left him a bottle of whiskey as a thank you). The location is amazing its . The staff is very friendly and professional, the breakfast was delicious and personalized (we were feeling like guests of honor as certain things were made especially for us, and the orange cake was delicious). Special thanks to Carlos who helped us out with directions to the main attraction points in Alicante and provided us with all the informations we needed. A very good oragnisation of the staff, and the appartment was very clean and well equiped (I have been in Alicante many times already . Exceptional ! Beautiful place in a palm garden about 3km from the city centre, the apartments are very comfortable and well furnished to a high standard. Ideal if you have hired a car, but public transport is also good (bus 23 frequent service to the city centre, takes 10 mins), taxi costs 8€. So If you are looking for high standard apartments in or near Alicante I would without doubt recommend El Palmeral. Modern and well kitted out kitchen, including a large fridge freezer and large oven and 4 ring top and washing machine. A terrace with space to hang clothing to dry. good sized pool with a mini pool for babies/toddlers. Friendly cat was star attraction and two little tarrapins. Very relaxing and friendly ambience. Pablo gave lovely welcome and introduction with good attention to detail. The apartment nr 4 was very cosy, with a nice balcony, spacious bathroom and tidy. The kitchen was equiped with almost everything to make the dinner from scratch. Also, all members of staff were very friendly and hepful. The location is perfect if you're renting a car, with 5 min drive to Al campo supermarket and 10 min drive to the beach. I would recommend this to everyone. It was a quiet , peaceful place. There was everything you needed, also a coffeemaker. You dont need to bring your own towels, there was towels for the beach and for bathing. The distance to shopping center, restaurants and busstop was not a problem, it was nice to walk occasionally. To the nearest beach we walked once, but we prefered the swimmingpool .We loved the place. Lovely hotel. A splendid garden, maintained area. Sensitive and responsive staff. Gifts and a bottle of champagne on arrival. Perfect cleanliness. There is everything to feel like home or on a summer residence. Parted with great regret. There is an underground Parking lot connected with a lift. You can leave your car on the street. Tidy, friendly, peaceful. We did not have a car - we walked 1.7 km to the nearest shopping centre, bought loads of food to fill the fridge and then took a taxi back. Taxi cost was 4 euros and there's a taxi stand right in front of the shopping centre. Very quiet location in a good part of Alicante as long as you have a car. When we arrived there was no kettle in our apartment so Carlos went to get one - but all in use. We had to wait for the shops to open before he could get us one. El Palmeral de Madaria is a small but very well equipped apartment hotel that is perfect for people who want to mainly relax on their vacation, but don't mind having an option for shopping/nightlife etc. These apartments are so well designed for comfortable and economic living. The pool and grounds are beautiful. They are in an upscale quiet neighborhood. They are well located if you have a car. The apartments were in a quiet location, clean, with a good pool area, terrace and lots of facilities e.g. Washing Machine, Dish Washer, Spacious bathroom etc. The staff were extremely helpful!. The apartment offered all of the comfort and amenities that you could hope to find. Everything was supplied which made our stay very easy. Very good security. Good value for money. The apartment was excellent. Everything needed for a holiday was supplied. Everything was clean inside and outside. Nest apartment I have stayed in. A tranquil oasis not far out of the city. We also enjoyed the use of the barbeque area and the beautiful trees and fish pond. The apartment was gorgeous and had everything we needed. overall experience was great and I would use the apartment again. Everything was great, the apartment, facilities. Just great!. Quiet, comfortable and relaxing. We both would agree with the other guests expansion of English channels would be great but we planned ahead after reading the reviews. We took an ipad with loads of English prog and movies on so we where well equipped as its nice just chilling out in the evenings and kicking back and watching a bit of telly before bed. So be advised and plan ahead ! There is free wifi so you can view anything on your tablets. nothing. Can't think of anything. For information: Located at some distance from the beach and the city centre. It is advisable to have a car for trips in the surroundings. We were given a large car (passat) at the airport and it was difficult to use the underground carpark as little room to manouver. However, plenty of parking spaces on the road just outside the apartments so no real difficulty. If you do not rent a car, you have to walk a bit: 800 mts to the closest bus stop and 1.3 kms to the closest grocery store. However, for our family this was not a problem at all. Driving in Alicante is difficult. We got lost so many times. Once you do know your way around, your realize how close you are to one of the most beautiful beaches, San Juan, and the old downtown section of Alicante. I felt that as we were a group of 4 adults and 2 children under one, there should have been two sofas, not just the one. The one sofa we did have, wasn't comfortable, but I'm sure that was just our room. Nothing. I would like there to be more than one English speaking channel on 'satellite' tv.... Trying to find it in the dark! If travelling by car arrive by day or make sure you have sat nav. Quite slow WI-FI. Nothing, superb value. Tv channels limited to Bbc world news for British visitors Need full length mirror as only mirror in apartment was over basin in bathroom. There was no kettle in the apartment for making tea and the only mirror was in the bathroom which is inconvenient when there are two ladies in the group. there are just no local ie. walking distance bars or resturants you either need a car or taxi. Nothing. our apartment was not really soundproof, however this has not been problematic in our case. the hair dryer was slow and too hot.
