Location and proximity to amenities in and around Tzaneen is excellent. Staff are very supportive and efficient. A quick pop over to Crawdaddy's is a must with good food and service. The price obtained via Booking .com and their willingness anbd helpfullness to asist with the system generated date which was amended. The Hotel@Tzaneen is super value for money. Clean and comfortable. Just need a coach in the standard suite.

In the evening it is a busy time and there is Always one person at the desk to check in guests and that can cause an unnecessary waiting period. Although Wi-Fi is advertised, the reception was very poor and it did not work on my mobile phone. No phone in room for service request, you need to walk to reception all the time. A toaster would have been nice. Kitchen utensils etc very limited. No view, but that was not so important for us. We did a roadtrip. They didn`t know about my booking. No rooms with 2 double beds, so we had to get 2 rooms. I suppose that's why you don't offer 2 double beds, so you can make more money. That's the only thing we didnt like. Shower mixer. On check in the 2 receptionists queried when I had booked as at R299 per night they would not make a profit !!! My answer "not my problem" Otherwise all very good. nothing really. The noise level at the late hours of the night/early hours of the morning (between 00H00 and 03H00) made the stay unbearable and this happened night. The parking layout is also abit aukward. Situated in the dodgy part of town. I did not like the fact that when booking the breakfast was not stated up front that it was for one person. Also breakfast for R70pp is ridiculous. Poor wifi. Unpleasant odour in bathroom (akwardly placed sewerage drains next to bathrooms).

Turn right at the R528. Keep right at the fork and then turn left to stay on the R528. As you come into Tzaneen, turn right into Danie Joubert Street. Turn left at the first set of traffic lights. This will be Makakota Street.
