It offered very good value for money and since we we going to a wedding and only going to be arriving late and night and leaving early the next morning, we did not need all the bells and whistles. So, for us it ticked all the boxes - convenient, comfortable, well located, well priced. Most important question of all: Would you go back ? The answer is yes. Very Awesome! So relaxed. Friendly environment, good food. Warm rooms. Helpful and friendly staff. I will be here again in the next year.

The shower/toilets ;looked a bit weary and "black gunge" fairly evident around the plug holes etc ! Breakfast basic and as it was reflected on the bill as a separate item, ( though the total fee was 100% as quoted) in this regard it underdelivered. I did not like the fact that i could not live here. I was very sad upon finding that out. There wasn't anything I didn't like about it!. Climbing the stairs. Rooms were a bit old and stuffy. Rooms are also very small. Nothing!!!!. few telvision channels to choose from. the mattress and duvet the noise below my window (workmen during the day and security at 2am). They might want to consider installing a good extractor fan in their kitchen. The smell of food in lobby is not that nice. Fair internet connection. I had to cancel the booking. In stead of charging me the cancellation fee of 25% as indicated the full amount due has been deducted from my account. I find it disingenuous. . We used 'special price'. The normal one is a bit high, but this seems to be true of the whole Stellenbosch. Afternoon receptionist needs to learn to smile. Room was noisy from reception and next to laundry. Staff entered room while I was still sleeping. Breakfast very basic and not quite to standard as I've had at many other places for similar normal price. It was not clean even after the roommaid was gone. I got the impression they were just rushing through and not cleaning. Toilet was running, hence water on floor. The facilities were very old fashioned (e.g. shower in the bath tub). The was no table for me to work on. I had to carry the smoking table from outside the romm into the room to serve as working space. Room small, cramped and dark. Found other guests sitting on our step several times. Wifi did not work. One receptionist unhelpful and disinterested. Smoke alarm in the room missing. Breakfast room and reception too small. Staff at breakfast unprofessional. Inadequate amount of food for number of guests at breakfast. Wifi unreliable. The cleaning staff were noisy, I had the room next to the laundry so it was quite noisy until after 21h00. The bed frill was dirty (very obvious) and the mattress needs to be replaced.
