This Tuscan style homestead takes in magnificent sweeping views of the surrounding hills and includes extensive grounds which grow the grapes which produce the famous Cabernet Sauvignon.

The remainder of the grapes are selected from top producers in the Stellenbosch and Franschoek areas. Set in the tranquil countryside, the estate also contains an outdoor swimming pool, the perfect place in which to unwind and enjoy a soothing swim.

Housing tastefully decorated, comfortable and contemporary accommodation, the hotel offers a couple of beautiful en suite rooms with balconies which provide a view of the valley and landscaped gardens. The interiors are elegant and refined, creating an atmosphere of an old-fashioned manor house with its sophisticated features. The hotel houses 2 self-catering rooms with an en suite. Both rooms include balconies overlooking the vineyards and valley. There is a full kitchen, dining room area and patio.

Travelling information

By car:
- Coming from Cape Town, follow the N1 motorway in the direction of
Stellenbosch.
- Exit the motorway at Stellenbosch.
- Turn right and cross the motorway.
- Continue on this road for approximately 7km.
- Turn right at the set of traffic lights (Bottelary Pad).
- Continue straight ahead for approximately 1km and then turn left in the
direction of Devonvale Golf Course.
- Continue on the road until you see a white house (Hoogrus) on your
right-hand side.
- Take the first road next to the house and carry on straight ahead for about
1km.
- Once you reach the T-juntion, Clovelly Country Estate is right in front of
you.
- The entrance is to the left.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 15 days before date of arrival, 25 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled up to 1 day before date of arrival, 30 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.
Up to two children under 11 years are charged ZAR 250.00 per night and person when using existing bedding.
All older children or adults are charged 100 % of the room stay per night and person when using existing bedding.
There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.
