Loved the modern design of the room and the rest of the hotel. Very comfortable room and massive bathroom with the best shower. Everything is just top of the range. The view we had was amazing. When we arrived early evening the surrounding mountains and fields were covered in clouds which made it all look like a postcard. In the morning when we woke up the sun was shining and warmed up our room. Had dinner at the neighboring Delaire Graff winery which was exceptional. Extremely good value for m.
all reviews » A top notch accomodation! We received a very warm welcome. When we arrived in the morning after a night flight, we were greeted with a nice welcome drink. The dinner booking has already been made for us - just in case. The staff was always efficient and helpful. The rooms feature a calm yet stylish atmosphere of a modern African style. We stayed in a self-catering villa. It was beautifully appointed, modern, clean and spacious. I loved that it had a decent pod coffee maker, with a generous supply of top-quality coffee! Our villa had a breathtaking view of the mountains and the whole Franschoek valley. Can't wait to go back!. Excellent View, Super Modern and very classy - loved the deco and style! Very clean, nice thick fluffy towels, Very Comfortable bed - everything was just of the best Quality!!!! Very Friendly manager. This place is like "heaven on earth"!!. My bedroom location (side view of mountain and car park back view). None. The coaches in the room did not appear to be too clean. There was damage to the leaking.

Directions from N2 and AIRPORT: - From Cape Town, come along N2 to Somerset West - Take the Baden Powell off-ramp (R310) - Continue straight on R310 (past Spier) into Stellenbosch - Continue along same road through Stellenbosch (along railway line on left) - Drive until you get to Bird Street (a traffic light at a busy intersection, "Eikestad" Mercedes dealer on right) - Cross over Bird Street traffic light (Friendly Grocer/Seven Eleven on your left) - At first traffic light, turn right (R310 to Ida's Valley & Franschhoek) This is the Helshoogte Road - Drive past Ida's Valley (on the left), and "Spar" Centre (on the right). Continue for approximately 6km - For quite a long stretch there is nothing on either side of the road except mountains and veldt - First place on right is Delaire Estate and Tokara Restaurant (on the left) - Drive about 200m after Delaire and Tokara, Clouds Estate on the right opposite Alluvia & Glen Arum (green signboard with light) - At the gate, press the intercom to Reception
