Everything, everything was so excellent, please keep it up, wish i had known this place all along, thanks to Hotel booking.com. It's soooo welcomming to have staff that smile and make you feel at home. You feel safe and can enjoy your stay!!!. The rooms are spacious, the resturant is spacious. all reviews » Clean neat facility. Breakfast was very nice. The Lodge is set in an ECo- friendly environment and close to the shopping Mall- the Menlyn- if one wants to go shopping or go eat out at variety of restaurants. The rooms are clean and set in a quiet area. The area is very safe!. I got the room for half price. The Receptionist, a young coloured man, who received me at 23hrs40 on Saturday, 5th October 2013, was quite stunning and excellent to advise types of rooms available and exercised his powers to a decisive solutions. God Bless Him.... Rooms were clean. coulnt identify anything negative, security good, staff very welcoming, rooms excellent. Or yes by the way , there was a discrepancy between info received on the internet and at the hotel My room included breakfast on the net, while at the hotel i was informed it didnot include breakfast. The food was not tasty the resturant could do better. Breakfast should be included in your tariff. Extra standard items at breakfast to be paid for???. Shower setup which also released very little water. Room was freezing cold and heater not working well and aircon setting only on cold. i had initially booked for a double room, but when i arraived i was alone, and tried to change my booking to single, but was told that it was impposible. i was very disapointed. I made a booking through the internet and added that we need a babycot and when we arrived on saturday evening they did not put a babycot in our room and the laundry was locked. The staff at the Lodge require more training if it has to remain a 4*. They need to be trained in customer care! Staff not friendly- only interested in your money! There is no one to show you and explain to you the breakfast menu. They assume that you know. We did not understand why we had to pay for breakfast separately after we had booked and paid through letsbookhotel.com. Internet Wifi is not available as free access! This is not suitable for business. Furniture is old. Not enough attention paid to details. False advertising, room not the same as the one shown on picture. Some Rooms at a range of about r800 are just too common for considerations, I.E. bathroom system, wardrobes, etc. need a face- lifting so they do not deliberate the type of money paid but at least a pitched standard. Entrance Gate to the Lodge is located at a busy street that may congest a traffic flow during pick-hours and wish that there's an alternative entrance gate, probably at back of the Lodge. Service could be improved, i had to ask to order breakfast and the tables weren't set appropriately. Wifi not free, very expensive... Tv's in the rooms were old, very old aircon's, needs an upgrade. Not value for money. Please unsubscribe me I will never make a booking through you again, I have used your services twice and both times there were problems on arrival!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
