Very comfortable hotel and restaurant called the bull run which is part of the hotel was very good as well. . Great grounds, very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Very close to Mandela Square and Sandton City.It is great for meetings. I have many breakfast meetings. we had a late flight on date of checkout,hotel let us leave bags in room and have a shower before we left at 5.00pm.....excellant.
all reviews » There is a good atmosphere, as well as lovely gardens. Rooms decorated with quality decor and finishes. Staff were great. Room was great and the meal that we had at the Bull Run was fantastic. Very good location and price. Sorry to say, didnt like any thing. They stripped the linen off the beds at 8h00, three hours prior to our checking out the room.The ash tray full of butts on our patio and the rubbish on the stairs between the hotel and the car park. aircon. poor. no. The fact that on booking i was assured of a family suite and on check they said they had no family room and had to susbsitute with two adjoining rooms. Awful pillows. lighting in room was minimal. We has a back room and the yard outside was very dirty and run down. I apology for what I am going to say, but it's important: One thing made me feel uncomftable was the room's smell while I'll open the door at the first time. all other things was good.Quite Old. The room had no windows but 1 sliding door. The sliding door could not be left open due to no security gate. The door went onto a court yard with at least 8 other rooms. The result, 2 nights of No Ventilation and maybe 4 hours sleep. A investment of R3000-00 would have made the difference.Not worthy of 4 stars - worn-through carpets, broken toilet seat. I had to request to move rooms, the first room the shower did not work, the sliding door was faulty. The bathroom was tired with woodwork that was perishing and a toilet that did not seal. The room I was moved to was adequate but the toilet was broken! Again the room was starting to look tired particularly the bathroom! The exterior of the hotel is also looking shabby. Not what I expected at. The restaurant staff require allot of training, they are absolutely clueless. flies in the room. door locks that doesn't require a key to be opened. How can the hotel cut (not reserve) the amount of the first night 12 days prior to arrival using my credit card, although letsbookhotel.com rules doesnt allow that. Please send me an explanation regarding this issue.

direction of Johannesburg.
- After approximately 10 km, take the N3 turn-off, direction of Pretoria.
- Pass the Linksfield and Modderfontein off-ramps.
- Take the Marlboro off-ramp, turning left at the set of traffic lights.
- Continue on Marlboro Drive, past the Shell service station, until you reach a T-junction.
- Turn left onto Katherine Street.
- Continue on Katherine Street until you reach the third set of traffic lights.
- Turn right onto Grayston Drive.
- Continue ahead until you get to the Grayston Drive/Rivonia Road junction.
