Amazingly friendly hosts who catered to our every need - including treating us like friends giving us lifts everywhere and the most delicious breakfasts including fresh scones and croissants. Great value for money and would highly recommend it for this incredible hospitality, location and hosts! Thanks for having us!. Budget double room was excellent. It had all the facilities that you need with big bathroom and nice garden. Breakfasts were awesome. Hosts were really friendly and helpful. They were driving us in the neighborhood when we need it. I would recomend to anyone to stay in Arum guest house!.

Travelling information

From the Oliver Tambo International Airport: Take the R24 towards Johannesburg, then the N12, the M2 West and the M1 North. On the M1 North take the Empire Road turnoff. Turn left into Empire road. Carry on straight along Empire until you reach a T junction. The SABC’s offices will be in front of you. Turn right into Kingsway until you get to 4th robot. (Campus Square shopping centre will be on your right) Turn right into University Road, this becomes Main Street in Melville. Turn left at the second traffic light. (The Melville Animal Clinic will be on your left hand side of the road). Follow the road up the hill. (This is 1st Avenue, please note that we are in 1st street and not in 1st Avenue) On top of the hill the road becomes a one-way street, turn right in to 1st Street. Pass two stop streets, Arum Place Guest House will be on your left hand side.
