I found the setting most agreeable and the hotel and staff were superb...found where I will stay every time I'm in East London. Excellent breakfast , spacious room , very accommodating in supplying a bed at late notice for my daughter. Stayed before on business, comfortable room with a big desk to work at. Location fine, breakfast good and staff efficient and helpful. A reasonable overnight stop in EL.

From the N2: Look for Exit No 1049 and signs for East London, North East Expressway/R72 and for Medicross Hospital Signs. - Take off-ramp to left at Exit 1049, left onto highway, R72. - Follow R72 until M4 (Pearce Street) off-ramp to left. - Take M4 off-ramp. - At traffic lights, turn right on M4 (Pearce Street). - Shortly after 2nd set of traffic lights on Pearce Street,you will see a traffic circle, carry straight on, then you will see the Spur Steakhouse on your left, and after a very short distance at the bottom of the hill, you will see the signs for Medicross Hospital, The Quarry and Quarry Lake Inn. - Turn left here into the Quarry, at Quartzite Drive. 200 metres further on your left, you will see Quarry Lake Inn.
