Staff were very friendly and helpful. The guide to local restaurants was very well written, accurate and informative. The house and garden are very well done and create a very relaxed atmosphere. Loved the bed on our private balcony! Good location, nothing is too far away. The staff were excellent - really friendly and helpful with lots of advice. Accommodation was well-designed and comfortable, with excellent facilities. Overall, the stay was very enjoyable - the combination of a personal touch in an upmarket environment.
all reviews » I can only recommend Villa Costa Rose for the traveller who likes to be close to the city and Waterfront and be able to go out into the streets with lots of shopping facilities and restaurants around. Enjoy Neils and Robs hospitality! They are great!. The hospitality was amazing from the management and the staff and everybody is so friendly!!! The breakfast is definitely one of the best I have experienced having stayed at many other places before!. The service was outstanding and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. Rob and Neil were gracious hosts and helpful with advice about what to see and do while in Cape Town. Great location nearby restaurants, shops & beach all within walking distance. Not enough hot water. Shower not that great..maybe not enough water pressure ??. Nothing!. The bathrooms: because they didn't have a shower glass, it got all wet. Shower head had weak water flow and was not adjustable. You need a car as its a bit far from most of the tourist hotspots, but this wasn't a problem for us.

Villa Costa Rose is centrally situated, close to the World Cup 2010 Stadium, the V&A Waterfront, Queen's Beach and the International Conference Centre (CITTC). Other attractions include Sea Point Promenade and Signal Hill.

Travelling information

By car:
- Arriving at the airport, follow the N2 in the direction of Cape Town.
- Take the Eastern Boulevard, direction of V&A Waterfront.
- The Waterfront intersection is at the first set of traffic lights.
- Cross over this intersection and turn right onto Western Boulevard at the
following intersection.
- Follow this road to Sea Point, then turn left onto Glengarriff Road.
- Take the first turn to your right, onto Sea Point Main Road.
- Turn left onto Conifer Street, then take the first road to your right
(Winstonia Road).
