The spacious size of our 3 bedroomed apartment on the 6th floor was lovely for our party of 6 adults. The kitchen area was well designed and equiped and the beds were very comfortable. Lots of wardrobe space.The Business area downstairs was very useful. Underground car park was good. Harbouredge Apartments is the place to stay in Cape Town. One can take a tour anywhere and one can't be lost.Harbouredge is near every place :waterfront,table mountain,sea point,campsbay,houtsbay,robben island the list is endless. Mark my words "I shall visit again".

Staff members (even the porter) were keen to highlight about the hotel facilities which was very impressive. they were well trained.The food was also good. I will definitely recommend the hotel for anybody. Spacious apartment, kitchen facilities eg. dishwasher, microwave and oven, washing machine and dryer etc. My family of 7 people enjoyed our stay in the apartment. The apartment were always kept clean at each time when we came back from our outing. Great spacious rooms accommodated 5 of us. Reception staff were exceptionally helpful, especially asbayana ( sorry bad spelling!) we were 2 women with 3 kids and we were looked after exceedingly well. Felt very safe. Highly recommended hotel. We loved the position and the spaciousness of the flat. The gym and the internet facility was great! The flat was really clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the DSTV connection and the flat-screen TV. Perfect city break,. The Staff were friendly and ready to assist. The Hotel is located a walkable distance from the Waterfront where the boats to Robbin Island are located. It is also a walkable distance from the City Center. Great Location. We needed 3 sets of keys for our party of 6 adults. One set of keys did not work. This was remedied by a change of keys. Alas it seems the Maid did not have a working set of keys so our room was not cleaned for 3 days.But very quickly sorted when we reported the problem. I missed a boat to robben island, my timing was not good.I got to the place fifteen minutes after the last boat at about 15:15 the sad part of the whole thing is that I had to bought a flight the following morning at about six O'clock. Occational siren sound coming from the main road. One afternoon we walked out of the hotel and walked through a dodgy area with a half way house nearby. Nothing happened but it would be helpful if hotel staff could have told us to go another way. That being said, it is South Africa so this was expected, and this hotel is great. I don't want people to read this and decide not to stay as this would be a mistake. Highly recommended hotel. The beds could be improved. Better pillows, mattress covers, an extra blanket would have been good. The pillows where of very poor quality. Bed seemed a bit unclean (Found hair under duvet). The famed 'nice view' is only available from 4th or 5th floor (we were at the 2nd). Windows to the verandah have to be closed because of the traffic noise outside, not a problem in winter, could be in Summer. For a luxury studio, we would have appreciated a bathtub rather than a shower. There is no air con in the bedrooms, so uncomfortable to sleep!. Some of the furnishing were a little tired and needed replacing. The soundproofing between apartments could have been much better, unfortunately the person who occupied the apartment next to mine was quite noisy especially late at night. No breakfast option. Location very busy and noisy. I was mugged near the Spar after taking out money from a ATM at 5.30pm.Walking around many hindrances from locals.Just follow the advice from reception they know best.Go to Q & A it is a safe zone.But go in taxi.Cape Town is not safe as the locals hold out but the reception advices correctly. So incredibly noisy, doors and windows had to be closed in order to have a decent conversation with people in the same room Would not stay here again because of noise level. Nothing!. 1. Bathroom tap not working 2. Intercomm in room not working ... have to go down to reception again and again for any work. 3. Miniature swimming pool. Nothing. We had some issues with our room but these were solved to our satisfaction. The road in front of the complex can be a bit noisy. Payment upfront in the check-in, did not accept American Express, limited wifi (100mb) per day in the room, check-out at 11:00 am and not at 12:00. We didn't have a smoking area though we requested one, we had to go outside fearing we will be fined. The only problem I can think of was the faulty gate leading from the parking area which keeps breaking down. N/A. Proximity of overpass made for noisy when trying to sit outside. Although nice concept the gym, it could be a little more spacious and fix the universal. Wi-fi only free on Business lounge room wh-fi was about a 20min credit. -the area can be quite sketchy at night -the gym needs upgrading -there is no house cleaning on Sundays. None. Traffic noise meant it was difficult to sit out on the balcony. The noise of the traffic was hectic, take earplugs. Also no aircon or fan in bedrooms. The balcony was not always well cleaned. Sometimes the water from pool slipped to my balcony in the first floor. I actually slipped,having to hold the sliding door in desperate act. The car noises. The hotel is is a busy road. Only thing that made the stay uncomfortable was the noise from the road. Small bed. A bit far from waterfront and isolated but near police station. The view from the balcony was a main road. Not quite the harbour edge that we expected. Nothing. none. No curtains/blinds in my unit. DSTV now limited to certain channels. Balcony not very private. It was all too good for us. No negatives at all. Someone previously using my room/ apartment had a cat and the smell of cat was still strong when I checked in. I only had an overnite - but if my stay would have been longer I would have had to request a different room.
