We stayed in the Twin Room with Sea View. Every evening you have a lovely sunset you can view from a spacious balcony. The room itself is big enough. There's a ceiling fan which we didn't use as the outside temperature was pleasant. The bathroom is spacious, with a bath and a separate big shower. Breakfast is served in the dining room which shares the space with a living room part where you can relax on a big couch. Two computers are available in case you haven't brought your own. Camps Bay is definitely a great suburb of Cape Town - very trendy with a great atmosphere with the back drop of Table Mountain. The breakfast was great and the home cooked muffins were a nice touch. The staff were extremely helpful - especially after my fiancé sprained his ankle walking up table mountain, providing lots of ice and cool packs! They also helped us print boarding passes for our flights an. The whole experience of staying at this accommodation was fantastic, the rooms were beautiful with all you need in them, the staff and the owner and manager are so friendly and will help organise day trips, etc and nothing is too much trouble, the breakfasts are fab and the location of the guesthouse is superb. Beautiful, just beautiful. Will definitely be back again and would recommend to anyone and everyone. Our host and Cedric the "Breakfast-Manager" went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant one. We got our breakfast more than an hour !!! before the regular breakfast time - just because we had mentioned that we had an early flight and would not be able to make it for breakfast. Very accommodating staff, lovely setting and decor, felt a little bit like being in Europe except the sea views and sunsets were incredibly South African and the most beautiful I have ever seen...and that was from my bed! Aside from this the breakfasts were delicious and the rooms were clean and fresh as was the linen crisp and just perfect all-round. The place was "Home away from Home"! The Wifi dropped in and out in the rooms, but other than that there is NOTHING I could fault about the guesthouse. Can't think of anything... We were not used to the gated entry and bars at reception so our initial impressions were a little guarded but this changed. The only thing I disliked was the absence of sausages with the English breakfast. Nothing. nothing major just tv in room are tiny..but you shouldnt be watching tv on holiday right?. noise. Poolarea could be nicer. Breakfast could have more of a hot choice but what we got to eat was lovely. Noisy street corner in front of B&B, luckily I travel with ear plugs. Ceiling fan needs good clean, full of dust. Our room was close to front door so you heard everybody come in late night. The hotel was situated beside a road junction so traffic noise was really loud. Staff on arrival could have been friendlier. Breakfast not the best.
