This a great spot to stay at in Bloemfontein as stop-over. The rooms are adequate size for an overnight stay, with an interesting design. It was comfortable and quiet. Save parking outside. And all this for a great price. Will come back again if I pass by!. I like the building, the friendly staff and my beau. The premises created the ultimate romantic mood, I felt safe and was sad when I had to leave this beautiful hotel. The atmosphere and the vibe was tranquil.

The blinds in front of the windows in the room (118) where I was hosted was problematic, thus left me in a dark environment. That was definitely a let down. I trust that it will be sorted out!!. Nothing I did not like. Traffic can be a bit noisy. No facility to have light dishes during day or evening. Pillows too hard, should be more like Granny Goose type linen. Stock levels of whisky, ice and mixers was not at the level that I would expect from a First Class facility. Breakfast not friendly to people who do not eat meat and pork. At least some chicken variations would do. No closed cupboard to hang clothes. Issues with second night booking - it was cancelled incorrectly for some reason by internal staff. Can get a bit noisy. The area is noisy. The room cards were sometimes not working. I had to slot it in several times before it opens. Please try to sort it out. The music. ( My age showing ?). no remote for tv. reception combined with breakfast area????they shud have done better. The shower door didn't seal & bathroom floor was very wet after a shower. We stayed in room 119. I will recommend a room at this end of the passage as it is not as noisy. The shower is not hot enough , water was always cold. Stayed at the hotel twice this year and on both occassions , cold water . The hotel was probably fully booked with cyclist partipating on the ofm classic. With cyclist starting at as early as 06h00 in the morning, I just think that even if it was only for the Sunday Morning, the hotel could have started with their breakfast earlier and not 07h00. None of us were able to have a breakfast since it started so late. The showerhead was too close to the side of the wall and could not turn to the middle of the shower. Water not warm enough in the morning for a shower. A little noisy with noise coming from surrounding roads. Main road rather noisy. Serves only breakfast. There was no lamp/spot on/or above the desk, for the rest it was perfect. The smell of the air freshner is too much and permeates into everything even when one's sleeping. I'm sure it is full of chemicals and could lead to breathing problems. There is not enough lighting in the room. A separate dining are would be nicer than in the lobby. The gate, I was expecting a better gate not a boom gate that is operated by a security guard sitting in a wendy house. a Smoking room. They should install a pedestrian gate at the top of the premises as to avoid people walking having to walk in the dark road. The other guests noise in the corridors and from my window till late at night. The staff were not very informative The bathroom shower leaked and there was a cockroach in our bathroom. no plug points on bedside and no safe in the room. Room smell - had a stale smell. Shower door that is leaking. N/A. Lack of room service menue. n/a. They did not have white wine...and that in S.Africa?.
